Azazel POV

"I'm sorry I can't say this in person, but it seems you're responsible for saving my family again, Azazel."

"Oh come off it, Sirzechs, I hardly did anything this time. We owe it all to our resident Red Dragon Emperor yet again."

"Yes, that's quite true...it seems Issei Hyoudou has saved the day again."

"Yup. His skills continue to grow on a daily basis. It's almost as if he grows stronger with each fight he gets himself into. To think, he managed to deal the finishing blow to Loki...even if he had the help of the Mjolnir replica, it's still an impressive feat."

"Hearing that news simply made me happier that he's on our side, along with my sisters."

"You can say that again." I ended up chuckling before leaning up against the wall.

"Speaking of your sister, are you sure it's ok not to tell her servants?"

"I'm assuming you're talking about their promotion?"

"Yeah, Akeno and Kiba's names were brought up."

"Indeed. We've weathered Kokabiel's attack, the terrorist assault during the peace conference between the three great powers, and the one on the day of the party that the other Demon Kings and I held in the underworld. Most recently, there was that trouble with the old demon regime. Every one of them was a major issue, and each time, Rias and her Familia stepped up to stop the threat. They've earned their promotions and then some. And now, they've aided in Loki's capture. Their advancement is all but guaranteed."

"Well, their accomplishments are top of the class, especially given how accustomed to peace most other demons have become. Both Akeno and Kiba have their fanbases in the underworld and their own unique status. Akeno being the daughter of Baraqiel, and Kiba with his holy-demonic swords. They're all distinguished, promising individuals. As far as power is concerned, they're already at the level of high-class demons, and yet..." I ended up going silent to let Sirzechs try and pick up what I was getting at.

"Yeah, it's still too soon. If we promote them to such a high position so quickly, it'll draw our enemies' eyes. Personally, I'd like them to develop their strength more before they move up a rank. I believe they need another three, no, two years. Unfortunately, public opinion is pushing for it to be now." After hearing that, I couldn't help but burst out laughing.

"It must be hard being a Demon King! So, what are your overall feelings then?"

"There's no question that they both deserve a promotion. But, there's another issue that's bothering me..."

"Let me guess. Rewarding Issei?" Sirzechs silently agreed with me.

"It's no question that he played the leading role in that fight, but as he is not a demon, there is only so much I can do to reward him for his assistance to the underworld." I could hear the resentment in Sirzechs's voice with his inability to properly reward Issei, but truth be told, he doesn't seem the type to be all that interested in material wealth. Even when he was granted a mansion and the opportunity to gain over thirty chest worth of valuable trinkets, his first idea was to return it because it was too much!

"Oh, I've got an idea. Why not give him Rias's hand in marriage? I hear things between those two have been progressing smoothly."

"I've thought about that as well, but in order for him to carry on my family's lineage, he needs a proper title within the underworld. Being "Humanities representative" and the "Hero of Hell" will only get him so far... The old demon families are very particular on that."

"That makes sense. We should probably keep observing his progress, then...I'm sure, given enough time, you'll come up with something. Just keep at it. He won't be going anywhere far anytime soon." Sirzechs ended up chuckling on the other end of my phone. Once he was finished, I ended up gaining a slightly more serious demeanor.
