After school, Molly and (Y/n) catch up with Libby as they walk home. "Hi, bestie!" Molly said. "So what'd you do this weekend, girls?" Libby asked. Molly takes some of Libby's chips. "Oh, Libby, we had the cuh-raziest Friday night..." (Y/n) said.

~flashback~

(Y/n), Molly and Scratch are flying around town. Molly and (Y/n) carry a mop and Scratch carries a bony fish.

"We..." Molly began. Scratch Shows up behind Molly and (Y/n). "No, no, no! You can't tell Libby about our ghost adventures." He said. "Um, yeah. This weekend, it was crazy. Uh, because Mom..." Molly said. "Yes." Scratch said. "...had been looking for this scented... Rainbow Ribbon candle, which she is just nuts for, and so we just went all around town..." (Y/n) continued. "Mm-hm." Scratch said. "...looking for you know, we looked in..." Molly said. "Tell her where you went." Scratch said. "...in, uh, Brighton, and then Perfektborg..." (Y/n) said. "A bit more." Scratch said. "Further! And then Mewline..." Molly said. "Yes!" Scratch said. " ...and then, uh..." (Y/n) said. "The one with the big Paul Bunyan." Scratch said. "Oconohaw." (Y/n) said. "Yeah! Nailed it!" Scratch said. "And?" Libby asked. "Pfft! No rainbow candle! Ha." Molly said. Libby chuckles. "That is...crazy!" She said. Molly and (Y/n) groan once Libby leaves. Scratch picks up the chips Libby threw away and eats them.

"Hmm, I give that lie a 7 out of 10. Weird enough to be true, but boring enough that there are no follow-up questions. Good job." Scratch said. "Sweet baby corn..." Molly said. Later, (Y/n), Molly and Scratch are solving a puzzle. "Aw, we hate lying to Libby! She's our best friend, Scratch, she should know about you. We're getting stress hives from all the lies!" (Y/n) said, and Scratch yelps. "(Y/n), don't you see that the more people know about me, the less scary I am, and I'll be just some kind of friendly ghost!" He panicked. "But we like friendly ghosts!" Molly said. "Well, the Ghost Council doesn't!" Scratch slams the table and makes the puzzle pieces float. He demonstrates as he speaks. "If I don't keep my scares up, they'll send me to the Flow of Failed Phantoms! Forever!" He shouted.

Scratch's illusion pops and makes the puzzle pieces fall all over the place. "Now, do you have any edge pieces?" Scratch asked. "The Flow of Failed Phantoms?" (Y/n) asked. "Hi, Mrs. McGee!" Libby is at the door carrying a huge candle with the colors of the rainbow. "No wonder you had trouble finding this. Abe and Allie at the candle store..." she said. "Uh-huh?" Sharon asked. "...said they've never even heard of a Rainbow Ribbon candle! So here!" Libby hands over the candle. "I made you one myself!" She said. "Thanks, I guess. Just one question. Why...?" Sharon asked. "Why, Libby! How thoughtful of you to make us a candle from scratch!" Molly said, interrupting. "Oh, right!" Sharon chuckles awkwardly, then sniffs the candle. "Mmm! Smells like...Rainbows?" She said. "Well, you've saved the day yet again, Libby! See you later! Ugh!" (Y/n) takes Libby outside and shuts the door. "Agh..." she said. "Mm. They're hiding something. Looks like the bloodhound of truth will have to sniff it out" Libby starts to sniff around and then howls. It's night time and Molly and (Y/n) are still sad about having to lie about Scratch. Scratch is sleeping on a bean bag.
