Libby regains conciseness and sees Scratch, (Y/n), and Molly looking down at her. "Boo!" Scratch said. "W-what?" Libby asked. "Libby, this is Scratch. He loves tacos, napping, and acting grouchy but really he's a big squishy marshmallow, aren't you, bud?" Molly hugs Scratch. "You're so squishy!" She said, and (Y/n) laughs. "Come on, I'm not a toy!" Scratch said. "And Scratch, this is Libby! She's—" (Y/n) began. "Yeah, obsessed with turtles, lousy at softball, way too deep in conspiracy theories. I'm familiar with the Lib." Scratch said. Libby takes out her recorder. "Supernatural theory number thirty-seven confirmed. Ghosts do exist! And they're rude." She added. Molly hugs (Y/n), Libby and Scratch. "Finally the truth is out! Now our two BFFs can be BFFs together!" Molly said. "Whoa whoa whoa, I do not need or want to be friends with Libby." Scratch said. "Same. I'm very particular about who I let into my friend circle." Libby said. "Not everyone has to like each other all the time, Moll." Scratch said. "He does have a point, sis." (Y/n) said. "Uh, yes, they do! More friends equals more fun!" Molly said, ignoring her twin's comment. "Mm-mm." Libby and Scratch said.

"Okay, fine! You know what? We'll just let this friendship flower bloom naturally, right sis?" (Y/n) asked. "Yes, naturally. With no interference from us whatsoever." Molly said. Molly crosses her fingers behind her back. Libby finds an envelope from Molly in her locker. "Ooh!" She takes the envelope and closes her locker. Meanwhile Scratch finds another envelope-- also from Molly-- in the living room of his house; since it's a former dollhouse, of course, the envelope for Scratch crowds half the room. "My space feels violated!" Scratch said. Scratch and Libby open their envelopes at the exact same time. Although Libby's letter was on pink paper with turtle-themed decorations, and Scratch's was on green paper with spooky ghost-and-spider-themed decorations, the handwriting and message on it was exactly the same. "Meet me and (Y/n) at the softball field after school for a super fun surprise!

Your best friends, Molly and (Y/n)." "Ha! I knew I was their best friend!" Libby and Scratch said at the same time, unaware of the other letter. Scratch shows up, confused to notice they aren't there. "Molly? (Y/n)? Hmm," Scratch looks at his letter. "I mean, why would they call me to a softball field? They know I'm allergic to organized sports!" Scratch said. At that moment, Libby shows up, and she and Scratch are shocked and slightly annoyed to see each other there. "What are you doing here?! THEY WANTED ME TO MEET THEM FOR A SUPER FUN SURPRISE BECAUSE I'M THEIR BEST FRIEND!!!" They both shouted. They look to one side, and see a flag with Molly's face and a rainbow on it, and both their heart's sank as they put the pieces together. "Oh, no. THIS isn't a super fun surprise! This is a MOLLY SCHEME!" They shouted. Libby's phone vibrates. She answers it, and it's a video message from Molly.

"Hello my friends. I'm speaking to you through the magic of pre-recorded video! Why? Because I know all you two need is some," A sun, hearts, and unicorn emojis pop up in the video. "Quality time together so you can see how amazing you both are! Right sis?" (Y/n)'s voice came on. "Uh, sure, sis..." she said. "Oh, no." Libby and Scratch said doubtfully. "So we've put together a," the video shows the "friend" flag. "Scavenger hunt!" Molly smiles as star emojis pop up in the video. "Nope! I don't have time for this." Scratch said. "Oh, you've got nothing but time, Scratch! I knew he was gonna say that." (Y/n) said in the video. "She's good." Scratch said to Libby. "Now the first clue is," the video reveals the flag by a base. "Under first base. Be sure to snap a friendship selfie at each location for our," hearts, stars, sun, ghost, and turtle emojis surround video Molly and (Y/n). "Three way BFF scrapbook! Happy bonding!" Molly said. Libby puts down her phone as she and Scratch look at each other worriedly. Libby looks under a base as tons of confetti erupts into her and Scratch's faces. "Ah!" Scratch said.

"Oof!" Libby falls on her back. Scratch picks out the confetti as a figure in a Lemming costume peeks at him. "Oh come on! I'm gonna be picking this out for days!" He said. The figure opens the face of the costume revealing it to be Molly. She looks at Scratch and Libby through binoculars, with (Y/n) beside her. "Wow, you're so smart Libby! We're gonna be best pals!" Molly said, looking at Scratch through the binoculars and imitating Scratch. (Y/n) rolls her eyes. Molly turns and looks at Libby via binoculars. Libby gets up, hair covering her face as she brushes the confetti out. Molly imitates her. "Yes, Scratch, this scavenger hunt is already bringing us together!" Molly said. "I don't know, actually I'm having second thoughts. Maybe Molly is just being to hopeful here." (Y/n) said, also imitating Scratch. "She does tend to do that sometimes." She then said in her perfect Libby voice.
