After the duty hours ,hm and ks were ready to go to the hospital but
ps stopped them asking ks " arey Aaj aap ghar nhi chal rhi kaa"

(Don't u have to go home?)

" haan ammaa Aaj aap santu k saath chale jaiye, hume or ms ko hospital Jana h"

(Yes amma, u go with santu today, me nd ms have to go to hospital)

" hospital.. hospital kahe, koi khush khabri h kya .... kya hamare lalla ka lalla aane wala h? kya hum dadi banne Wale h? , hey shiv ji aakhirkar aapne hamari sun hi li...." In her overacting.

(Hospital, why hospital, is there a good news, Is my son's son going to come? Am I going to become a grandmother? Oh lord Shiva, finally u have listened my prayers...)

" kya? km aap pregnant h, congratulations madam, congrats pushpee ab to aap dadi banne wali ho, or pushpee km ka baby mujhe maasi bolega na qnki km to mujhe apni choti behen jaisa manti h" said santu.

(What? u r pregnant km, congratulations madam, congrats to u too pushpee after all u r going to be a grandmother, btw pushpee, km child will call me 'aunt' no, as she treats me as her younger sister)

Cheetah joined them " uu hisab se fir hum to mama banne Wale h, km mujhe b to apna Bhai manti h, or fir to  party hogi, itni badi khushkhabri jo h"

(If that's the thing, then I'm going to be his/her uncle, km also treats me as her younger brother, so it's a party time, after all this is such a big news)

"Aee nithalle, is tareeke se to fir tu or santu ji Bhai behen hue na, or maaaaa...aap maa se dadi banne wali ho, pr mera kya relation hoga bachhe k saath" billu shouted from his billu niwas.

Hm chided with all these comments , she knows she has no right on ks except being a frnd but can't help herself on her jazbaats (feelings) for ks, she tried to compose herself nd calm her irritation, nd said " bs kijiye aap log , aap logo ne thaane ko bilkul chidiyaghar (zoo) banakr rkh dia h, ks ko ek ladki behosh mili thi field duty se aate waqt to hum bs usi se kuch sawalaat poochhne hospital ja rhe h, ho gya sb aap logo ko clear?"

(Shut up everyone, u all have made this police station a zoo, Ks found an unconscious girl when she was returning from her field duty, so we are going to hospital just for the investigation, now everything's clear or not?) But no one responded.

she looked at every face nd further said " theek h to fir hum Jaa rhe h"

(Okay then, we are going)

Here, ks noticed something different in hm tone as hm said all this but she chose to ignore.

Ks said to ps " or pushpa ji aap ye khayali pulao kam pakaya kijiye, aapke golgappe aapke dimag pr chadhne lge h, thoda kabu me rkhiye apne dimag ko"

(And Pushpa ji, don't build castles in the air, your golgappas have started going to your mind, keep your mind under control.)

"bhuliye Mt hum saas h aapki or ye kya pushpa ji lagakr rkha h, ab to duty hours khatam ho chuke h or kya kah rhi thi aap khayali pulao. To aur kya kre hum? hum b chahte h hamare lalla ka lalla aaye, hum b dadi Bane..pr nhi hamare lalla k to bhaag hi phoot gye" ps said loudly as she always says.

(Have you forgotten that I'm your mother-in-law ,nd why r u calling me pj when duty hours are over? Nd what u say building castles in the air, so what shud i do? I also want my son's son to come, nd wanna be a grandmother..but it's was my son's unfortune that he married u) it was their usual way of teasing nd quarelling.

" arey kuch to lihaz kijiye ,bhale hi duty hours khatam ho chuke h pr hum abhi b thaane me h, to ab aap dono koi behes nhi karengi or ks aap chaliye hamare saath" hm said
nd took ks's hand which was a very unexpected reaction from hm for everyone.
