After the trio leapt back from London, They walked Sophie home.
"Bye guys." Sophie told them, hugging Fitz.
"Goodnight, Sophie." Fitz told her hugging her back.
Sophie bit her lip and tugged out an itchy eyelash. I mean, how could she not?! She was about to leave everyone she knew and loved. Her eyes started welling up.
Are you okay? Fitz transmitted Is something wrong? Sophie jumped
I'm fine she transmitted back. He nodded 'Ok'
"Have you guys forgotten I'm still here?" Keefe said, cracking up, "When do I get a turn, Foster?"
Sophie's cheeks flushed as she hugged Keefe, he blushed too. "Sorry about that." Sophie apologized, as she held up her home crystal, about to never see them. She realized she had made a mistake.
Sophie ran back to Keefe and gave him a quick kiss and then leaped away, giving him the best smile she could muster.
She made it 8 seconds into her room before she flopped onto her bed, burying her face into her pillow, sobbing her heart out. Grady and Edaline were asleep so Sophie started writing the note.
Dear mom and dad,
Please don't hate me. The Black Swan needs me to move to the Forbidden Cities. I can't tell you where because, I know you'll try to look for me. Please don't try to come after me. The Black Swan doesn't know how long I'll be gone, according to them 'hopefully' 5 years. I'm so, so, so, sorry to leave. I love you guys too much to wake you up and say bye. You guys are the best parents ever and I have never regretted choosing to live here. Bye, and again, please don't hate me.
-Your daughter,
Sophie Foster
Sophie wiped away her tears as she grabbed her purple backpack and started to cram all her tunics and legging and everything into it.
"So, you're leaving us Foster?" A voice behind her said. Sophie startled.
Keefe.
"Oh, umm no. Why would you think that?" Sophie lied, kicking her purple backpack aside, accidently spilling a picture Keefe had painted of her. Keefe frowned.
"Well, first, I saw the letter downstairs, and now well," He motioned to the purple backpack. He took her hands. "I know why you have to do this. And I know there's no stopping you, but do me one thing," He asked.
"What?" Sophie asked cautiously, worried.
"Let me come with you, please. And I have 3 reasons. First, how are you going to pay to live there? I still have billions of human dollars from when I was there. Second, how are you going to live alone?! You need at least one other person. And third," He paused, looking her in the eyes, "I can't live without you Foster."
"Keefe-"
"Please Sophie." He pleaded.
"I wasn't going to stop you, but are you sure you want leave?"
He laughed a cold dark laugh, "I mean, it's not like I have caring parents." Keefe was right, and Sophie hated that.
"Okay then. But you need to hurry and pack-" she told him.
"Already did!" He swung his backpack around to show her.
"Oh okay." Sophie zipped up her purple backpack that she spilled and hung it on her shoulders.
She held up the pathfinder as Keefe took her hand. "Los Angeles, California." Sophie said, as they glittered away.
A/N Sorry it was so short y'all but don't worry, the best of SOKEEFE is yet to come!!
