The Time We Ate A Lot Of Food

Dinner time on the plane has arrived! Choose your meal- nope you don't get a choice just kidding.

Just. Disregard that^. I don't even know why I started doing that. It is getting more and more cheesy but now that I've started I'm not allowed to stop. It's not even that I'm not going to stop, it's that I'm not allowed to.

So, if you saw the genioso comment from GermTan (Jagger) yesterday, no the assembly is not today. The assembly is tomorrow. BUT the potluck was today!

I made a Hailey. Jk. I made a cake. Which is pretty much Hailey. Just saying. Hailey actually brought brownies, which is funny because I'm brown. So you could say that we brought each other. ;-)

Ms. S was glad to see all the food that came in in the morning, and it was very torturous to be sitting there in the classroom with all that food just, sitting there, WAITING TO BE EATEN. However, we still had work to do. Well, not really actual work, but the Grad Slideshow REALLY needs to get a move on (though I think we're near finished) and so does the monthly slideshow for the assembly, which I repeat, is TOMORROW. I think they're done though. But you know, they kind of cheated. Apparently there were not enough pictures for June, so they compiled ALL the previous slideshows and called it "This year's slideshow."

Suuuuper sketchy.

Still, I know tomorrow is going to be a pretty emotional day for me, remembering everything of the past few months... I don't wanna talk about it anymore.

Back on track!

While those who were working on the slideshows did their thang, the rest of us either finished up our graduation collages(ugh), or worked on that Science project (Grade 7s). Anyone who was done was supposed to work on a get well soon card for Theo, because he hasn't been with us the past few weeks. Thankfully, he's out of the hospital, but he's still resting at home. Apparently he is coming back next week...BECAUSE HE BETTER BE HERE FOR GRADUATION.

Now, technically, I was done, but I REAALLLLY didn't want to work on the card since my artistic skills are non-existent. So, I casually gave it to Jo and Norah (and I think Jennifer worked on it too) and dipped. Lol, sorry guys. I went to sit with Hayden to cut out small things to fill any empty spaces because Ms. I was very picky about that. I was going to hand it in yesterday, actually, but she wouldn't take it because there were "empty spaces." -_-

I think Ms. S was just as impatient as us about getting to the food because we cracked the snacks a little before morning recess. (Or was it after?) Still, it was somewhere near morning recess. Yes, we started eating lunch at around 10:30 (the latest).

The food was all great (except for a certain pasta that wasn't great, but that's okay, I guess it's just my messed taste buds). Jo brought her amazing fried rice, and Thomas brought samosas, as always. Jagger brought eggs. Just eggs. They were great though. Derek brought sushi, and a watermelon that we never got to eat.:'-(

Then again, I guess Ms. S will have it for us another day. Which may be good considering it's SUMMER. Actually, I was just talking to Melissa today about how it was beautiful weather today. I was not sweating nor shivering. That, to me, is perfect weather. The wind was a little on the strong side, but that just made it all the better.

We stayed in during lunch time, but eventually, Ms. S told us we needed fresh air, so the three intermediate classes went outside to the park. I went to my usual spot near the park and was accompanied by the usual crew: Jo, Jennifer, Paige, Lila, Hayden, and Melissa. Lila was drawing on her laptop, which is her talent. Honestly, I can't even fathom her skill. Like what even is this. How is this humanely possible. Paige was writing a story of her own, and I feel the way about her writing they way I feel about Lila's laptop drawing. I'm not sure that sentence made sense, but I'm hoping y'all can just figure it out.
