Remember when I said I was feeling down? I'm better now! Yay! I sorted out my problems today, thanks to Hailey. Thanks, G.
The morning was normal - we had Geography(ugh) with Ms. I, in which I did almost zero work. Oh well. I'm sitting in between Angelo and Lila, so what would you expect? I think I wrote down one answer to the five questions Ms. I put on the board. Thank God Ms. I never checks homework.
The next two periods were Homeroom, where we didn't get to do what we had originally planned because SOMEONE wasn't ready to do Current Affairs. If you don't know what Current Affairs is... PM me and I'll tell you. I'm not down for explaining it right now.
Instead, we did speech arts for Thomas and Derek. They were both pretty good, although I hardly understood anything of Derek's. I mean, really, he was talking about the end of the universe. Which is said to be trillions of years in the future. He mentioned dark energy, Hawking radiation, and some theories as to how the universe will end, including the "Big Crunch." It would have been really interesting if I knew what he was talking about. Maybe next time, Derek (But wait, there won't be a next time because I'm graduating!! WAHHH!!!)
I had Yearbook Committee today at lunch, in which Ms. S and Ms. W urged us to get the yearbook done by next next week (!). I don't know how we are going to do that, seeing that we need to put all the layouts into the same file. How in the world that is going to work, I have no idea. Funny, because I'm supposed to be one of the editors (Natalia is the other one).
We had French next, but had a supply teacher. Thankfully, she was nice, and she actually spoke French. Also, thankfully, Theo didn't decide to be horrendous, as he usually is to substitutes. We got letters from our Pen Pals in France, which was pretty cool. My pen pal's name is Inès, and she is Portuguese. Unfortunately for me, she also likes Neymar, but she actually speaks the same language as him! That gives her an edge. That snake...
Next period was supposed to be Gym, but the Gym was set up for us to display our Heritage Fair boards, so we couldn't go there. We went outside instead to play Capture the flag! I had a pretty good team, but we lost anyways. Oh well. It was fun. And I got the super big branch onto our side. HAHAHA I WIN!!
Hailey got very short of breath after the game, though, because running makes her hyperventilate. At least that's what she said. I don't know much about the condition. She leaned on me and we went back to the school yard for recess. After she caught her breath, she solved me problem for me by talking to the perpetrator. Okay, so maybe that's a harsh word, but it's the only one I could think of. Still, YAY HAILEY. I OWE YOU A BUNCH!!;-)
Last two periods, we set up our Heritage Fair boards in the Gym. Erin was annoyed that the stuff on Hailey and I's board was not stuck firmly, so she got to work gluing it on - Erin style. She has mad gluing skills, I'm telling you. Meanwhile, I wandered around to take a look at some of the Grade 7s' boards. Izabel had put her information in a book format because she couldn't fit everything on the board. There was literally a giant book made of construction paper stuck to her board. Next to hers was Zara's, who had taped everything onto her board with what looked like industrial tape. Oh well, I can't judge her, because that's what I did for my Science Fair! Some other Grade 8's and I also noticed a spelling mistake in the title of Jane's board - she had spelled "Canadian" wrong. How patriotic, Jane. She ripped it off and said she would say that it fell off.
We did one Science fair presentation after that, which was Natalia's and Melissa's. It was very interesting, as it was about SOMETHING I COULD ACTUALLY UNDERSTAND (*ahem* Derek and Hertz). It was about the Science behind crime. However, while I was listening to the presentation, I was talking to Jennifer about trivial matters via paper. I promise, though I could recite that presentation...Okay, maybe not, but you know what I mean. I'M NOT A BAD GIRL, I SWUR!!
That's pretty much sums up the day. Arthur came along for Senior Band, and he conducted "Firework." He also got me in trouble, kind of. He hit his conducting stick on my stand because I was talking. Meh.
I usually go home with Natalia, but she had some tennis thing, so Hayden's dad gave me ride with Riley and Hayden. It was entertaining, I suppose.

And that was how the day went! I know I just started a sentence with "and." I know that it's not allowed in the English language, but there ain't no grammar Nazis on here. Except for Reno, but I don't think he reads this stuff.
Thanks for reading, and don't forget to vote and comment!
