The Time I Sucked At Life

I know, you are all on my case for not updating in a REALLY long time. Well, wait no longer, because here it is! However, it's not the type you would expect.

Like I said, I haven't updated for a really long time, and heck, I can't write everything that happened in one Wattpad entry! So, I have compiled a couple of stupid things I did the past little while for your enjoyment.

Actually, I can't even remember that far back... Dammit. Okay, so I'll tell you about yesterday and today then.

Yesterday, we had a concert at the high school near us, WCI. It was a success, and although I showed up in heels, I managed to not fall (yay). Bree and Adam were also there, so that was really cool. The dress rehearsal was in the morning though, so we all had to walk over as soon as attendance was taken. I was lagging near the back, but I was scared out of my wits when Ms. I suddenly yelled, "GO FASTER!"

It's not fun when Ms. I yells. Really.

So I ran. Clutching my clarinet case, I closed the gap between the two blobs of people. Erin and I think Riley also ran, but Erin plays the French horn and Riley plays the baritone, so you can guess what happened. Wait... The baritones were driven over with the percussion and stuff, so never mind. You see how bad my memory is? This was just over 24 hours ago, and I can barely remember.

Anyways, we got there, and we had a great rehearsal. At the back of the stage, there was a wall covered in writing and graffiti. Turner and I were there for a while laughing at all the weird stuff written there. I wanted to write something too, but I didn't have anything to write with, and neither did he. So I didn't.

We came back for lunch a little late, so we couldn't sign out. We ate in the gym with the rest of the school for the first time in a LONG time. However, when I got there, a lot of the seats were taken, so Raven and I were told to sit across from Jagger, Jeffrey, and Glen. It was okay, I guess. I didn't understand much of their conversation, since they were discussing K-Pop, a subject I am not exactly knowledgeable on.

Meanwhile, my lunch bag was being annoying af. It wouldn't stand up straight! The stupid thing kept falling down on my lunch. It kept doing that until I finished eating my lunch. I put my container back in the lunch bag and pulled out my Yop. You know what Yop is, right? It's a drinkable yogourt -for those people who didn't know. I want to point out (and emphasize) the word "drinkable." That means it was LIQUID.

So I opened my Yop and began to drink it. I put it down at one point to talk to one of the people at the table, I don't remember who. Lo and behold, my lunch bag fails me once again and falls over. But that wasn't the only thing that fell over. The yogourt came crashing down. All over me.

At first I just opened my mouth in shock. Raven, Jagger, Jeffrey, and Glen began laughing insanely at me. I was soooooo humiliated!! Especially since all of them are dirty minded.... I sat there for a while, with no idea what to do with my self. I was really embarrassed, but I have to admit, it was pretty funny. I was laughing too, but I was still very terrified of getting up. I stayed there, trying to make them promise that this would stay between us, but I didn't get any promises. In fact, Jagger got out his phone and took a picture of the spill on the ground.

Eventually, a teacher came by and noticed my discomfort. She gave me ONE paper towel (Thanks, Ms. T, I really owe you for this one). Finally, I picked up my stupid lunch bag and hightailed it out of the gym. Luckily, I had some extra capris that I kept in my locker because I was too lazy to take them home. Thank God for my laziness.

I went to the washroom and changed into them, still utterly humiliated. Raven helped me by rinsing the yogourt off my pants, and since there wasn't a lot on my shirt, I just washed it off. I think I should dedicate this to her because of that...

The other altercation happened today, in Senior Band. I was not very happy, due to [insert problem here]. As I realized in horror that I had forgotten my clarinet at home - we were supposed to take it home after the concert. Of course, there were several others that I could have played, but in that case was something more important- my mouthpiece, reed, and ligature. I didn't want to ask for a new one, because the music teacher had given me a new one the last time I took out my instrument. I had two reeds, two ligatures, and one mouthpiece. The other mouthpiece wouldn't fit in the drawer thing we were provided, so I "lost" it. -_-

At first, I was mad. I was already annoyed because of [insert problem here], and this took the cake (I never quite understood that saying). I sat down in my chair, all pissed off because I didn't know what to do. Finally, I realized that I would just have to play without the mouth piece. We didn't play all the songs, thank goodness. Just two, since we played the other ones yesterday at the concert very well. For the first song, I just sat there putting my fingers down in the right places for the notes, but not actually playing them (obviously). I guess I must've looked pretty pathetic, because soon the entire front row of clarinets and Levi, a flute player next to me, was laughing at me. Frankly, I was laughing at me too. I was feeling a little better about [insert problem here], so I'm glad I laughed. It was very sad though, to see all the people around me actually playing, while I just sat there. Except for Jagger, Derek, Hayes, Hailey, Levi and I, who were laughing most of the time. In the next song, I wanted to add to the sound - so I started to sing.

I did the fingerings, but I hummed/ sang all the notes. Thankfully, only Hailey heard me, but she was dying of laughter. You see, unfortunately, the song we were playing (Israeli Dance) involves the highest of notes, so I was doing more squeaking and squealing than humming and singing. My throat hurt after that rehearsal.
