Emma's POV

So exams came and went. I'm pretty sure I passed everything. The twins won't know their results until they get their letters for next year. Anyway, after the exams, George convinced me to celebrate with him, Fred and Lee. While Hermione, Harry, and Ron went to see Hagrid. As Buckbeak is being executed that day.

But it turns out I missed a hell of an adventure. It went through the school like wild fire. They had come face to face with Sirius and had nearly died. Hermione and Harry lost their souls to the Dementors. But they survived along with Sirius. And Buckbeak, both had escaped.

We all heard the ministry side of events. But the others told me all about their version on the train. "I can't believe I missed everything and that I didn't get to say goodbye," I grumble.

"You know him?" they ask shocked.

"He was Loki, Coal friend. I figured his secret out months ago and got his version. He made me swear not tell anyone or to go after that rat" I state. I tell my story of my time with Sirius. Coal suddenly barks looking out the window.

"What's he barking at?" Harry asks.

"Is that an owl?" Hermione asks. Harry opens the window and catches the owl bringing it into our compartment. He takes the letter from it and lets it fly around the room.

"It's from Sirius," Harry states. He opens it and reads it out loud. "Dear Harry,

I hope this finds you before you reach your aunt and uncle. I don't know whether they're used to owl post. Buckbeak and I are in hiding. I won't tell you where, in case this owl falls into the wrong hands. I have some doubt about his reliability, but he is the best I could find, and he did seem eager for the job.

I believe the dementors are still searching for me, but they haven't a hope of finding me here. I am planning to allow some Muggles to glimpse me soon, a long way from Hogwarts, so that the security on the castle will be lifted.

There is something I never got around to telling you during our brief meeting. It was I who sent you the Firebolt. Crookshanks took the order to the Owl Office for me. I used your name but told them to take the gold from Gringotts vault number seven hundred and eleven - my own. Please consider it as thirteen birthdays' worth of presents from your godfather.

I would also like to apologise for the fright I think I gave you that night last year when you left your uncle's house. I had only hoped to get a glimpse of you before starting my journey north, but I think the sight of me alarmed you.

I am enclosing something else for you, which I think will make your next year at Hogwarts more enjoyable.

If ever you need me, send word. Your owl will find me.

I'll write again soon. Sirius" he finishes. He takes out another piece of parchment. It was Sirius giving Harry to visit Hogsmeade next year. He went to pocket both.

"Wait, there's two post notes" I tell him. He flips the letter over. Reading the first one.

"P.S. I thought your friend Ron might like to keep this owl, as it's my fault he no longer has a rat" he finishes. Ron looks at the small owl in his hands. He'd grabbed it earlier as Crookshanks was eyeing it. He suddenly holds the owl out for Crookshanks and Coal to sniff.

"What do you two think? Diffinetly an owl?" Ron asks. Crookshanks purrs, while Coal yipped wagging his tail. "Good enough for me, he's mine" he declares.

"What else does it say?" Hermione asks Harry.

"P. P. S. Please tell Emma I am sorry for not saying goodbye. If she wishes to write to me, she may do so. Her owl Smok, will know how to find me" Harry reads out loud.

"I'll owl him when I get home" I state. The rest of the journey home was uneventful. I went to see Romilda, who was sitting with her dorm mates. Then spent lunch with George and his friends. Before returning to get my stuff from my compartment as we reached Kings cross.

George and I meet each others parents. Who also meet each other. Before we went our separate ways to go home. I unpacked when I got home and sent a letter to Sirius. Before starting on my summer homework. Planning to get it all done in the first week, so that I can then enjoy the rest of Sumner homework free. Meanwhile, Romilda went to go catch up with her muggle friends at the local park with Coal.
