CHAPTER TWO | THE PREACHER

TONIE

"What the hell was that, Antoinette?"

I rolled my eyes and looked outside the window. I knew my father was mad at me because he kept on telling me I created a scene from his 'long lost brother's' event. Napahiya daw siya kina Mr. Rozovsky.

"Tonie, you cannot force your beliefs to every people that you met. Other people have their own beliefs. Their own religion."

"You cannot do things like that everyt ime that we are meeting other people." Pahabol pa niya.

"I am just telling them what is written in the Bible, Mommy. And it's in the Bible. People with tattoos won't go to heaven. They will definitely go to hell." Hindi ko na natiis na hindi sumagot. "That's a fact."

"I understand that, that is your belief. Your church's belief. But not everyone will take it nicely."

"I don't care. Me and my church are trying to spread the word of the Lord. We are trying to cleanse this world from people who are who are creating destruction around us. With our words from the Bible, we are creating a new world."

"Jesus Christ, Tonie. You are getting worse.

"Exodus chapter twenty verse seven. You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain. You cannot just use the Lord's name for your expression."

At wala akong pakialam.
