"Sir, someone is looking for you."
"Who?" Parehong nagtatanong ang tingin namin ni Ezra dito.
"Tonie Aurelio. She's waiting at the party club. She said you are expecting her."
Binuksan ko ang laptop ko at tiningnan doon ang mga CCTV footages ng buong club at nakita ko nga doon si Tonie na nakaupo sa bar area at palinga-linga sa paligid. Hitsurang inip na. Hindi ko malaman kung bakit unti-unti ay napapangiti ako. Was it because she was not wearing her usual ghostly dress? Or because I was excited to show her that her loving boyfriend was banging someone inside my sex rooms?
Isinara ko ang laptop at humarap kay Ezra.
"Cut the shit, Ezra. Stay away from the supernatural shits and that fortune teller. Ibahin mo naman ang trip mo." Sabi ko at lumakad na patungo sa pinto.
"But what if it is true? What if there is someone out there plotting to copy our club? And we lose this?" Pahabol pa niya.
Hindi ko na lang siya pinansin at lumakad na ako patungo sa party club. Malayo pa lang ay nakita ko na si Tonie na hitsurang inip na nakaupo sa may bar area. Hindi agad ako lumapit at tinitigan lang ang kabuuan niya.
Tonie was just wearing a simple pants and white sleeveless blouse. Her hair was loose and her face was clean without any make-up on. Hindi katulad noong nakakaraan na nakikita ko siya na mukha siyang babae sa Baleta Drive. And she was pretty right now. I remember how she looked like before she was brainwashed by their cult. The goth-chick clad in black and full of make-up. Ngayon ko na-realize na kung ano-ano na rin pala ang ginawa ni Tonie sa buhay niya.
But this time was the worst.
Believing in a cult. Falling in love with a fake church leader. I wonder how she would take it once I told her the truth about her perfect boyfriend.
And I am going to tell her everything I found out about Lewis. About their fake church so finally she would open up her mind and she would go back to her family.
I am doing this for Uncle Patek. After all, it was my time to return the favor for my favorite Uncle after years of helping me.
