"I am going to talk to Danny Rozovsky. By myself." Walang abog na sabi niya.
"I am coming with you. Hindi puwedeng mag-isa ka lang na haharap sa lalaking iyon. He is the devil reincarnated and you know how the devil works." Sagot ko.
Umiling-iling si Lewis. "I know that was his work. He sent those women here in our church to mock us. To embarrass us. I need to talk to him before I lose my cool."
"He won't listen to you." Hinawakan ko ang kamay ni Lewis. "We let this slide. Let's just look for people who really needs our help. We cannot make Danny listen to us."
Tumitig sa akin si Lewis. "This is a battle between good and evil, Tonie. And I will never let the devil wins." May kinuha sa bulsa niya si Lewis at nakita kong calling card iyon. "I know this is the ultimate test that the Lord is given me. To face the devil himself and I won't let him win. Good will always win."
Hindi na ako sumagot at napahinga na lang ng malalim. If this was the Lord's way to test our faith, we would gladly accept it.
And I trust Lewis that he would win. We would make sure that our faith won't be affected by the devil who was trying to shake our beliefs.
