Falling for Novogratz

Chapter 2

When I open the door of the apartment complex, I see a black car in front of it, and a door opening.

Bellamy gets out of the car and gives me a little wave.

I walk towards Bellamy and put my hands together. " Sorry for making you wait, I almost forgot to take my laptop." I say apologising.

"Don't worry about it girl, no worries."

The window from the back goes down only to show Tallulah sitting in the back and waving.

I awkwardly wave back and get past Bellamy to grab the handle of the door in the back.

Bellamy puts her hand on mine. " No darling, you go in the front, we'll sit in the back. "

I look at Bellamy with furrowed brows. " It's no problem at all you know, it's already very kind of you to come and get me. I'm fine with going in the back."

"Don't be silly, we interrupted your day, we'll go in the back, you get in the front. You're the guest."

I shrug. " Okay, fine by me."

Bellamy smiles at Tallulah in the back and then steps into the back.

They seriously are something else.

I step aside to grab a hold of the handle of the passenger's side, and open the door.

I look inside and at that moment I'm welcomed by a big smile.

" Hi, come on in."

I am a little startled by the sight of the person in the driver's seat.

" Uhhhh.." I am at a loss of words. It's the cute guy from this morning. ".. Okay." I say reluctantly whilst taking my purse and jacket into my hands and sit down next to the guy. I put on my seatbelt and look at the guy.

" You look familiar, I feel like I have seen you before." I say, bluntly.

The girls in the back laugh at my statement. "Yeah girl,-" Says Tallulah whilst putting her left hand on my shoulder. "-you saw him this morning in the coffeeshop."

I nod. " Yes I know, but I mean, your face-" I say whilst turning to the guy "- looks familiar, I can't place it."

He smiles, and damn, that just makes him even more attractive.

" We haven't officially been introduced." He says whilst putting out his hand for me to shake.

" Hi, I'm Wolfgang Novogratz, nice to meet you."

I shake his hand. His very soft hand.

" Wolfgang Novogratz? " I say letting go of his hand.

" Have we met before?" He looks at me questioningly.

" No, no, I would definitely remember meeting you. No, you're an actor right?" I ask, looking into his eyes.

Damn he's handsome.

" Yes I am."

I look outside at the street, trying not to look at him. I clap my hands together and look back at him.

" That's where I now you from, I have seen movies you're in, that's why you looked familiar."

He smiles and looks outside, breaking our eyecontact.

" Okay, that's a good explanation.-" The he looks back at me. "- but I still don't know you."

My eyes went wide. Of course!

" Oh, I'm so sorry, I'm Séverine, or Sadie for short. " I put out my hand for him to shake.

He chuckles and shakes my hand for the second time. " Nice to meet you, Sadie."
