In the midst of the family's ongoing conversation, Yn couldn't help but feel a growing sense of boredom. She anxiously waited for her best friend, Lisa, who was running late. Yn scanned the surroundings, hoping to catch a glimpse of her arrival. Finally, her eyes lit up as she saw Lisa entering with a man by her side.
Yn quickly excused herself from the family gathering, mirroring Jungkook's earlier exit, and headed toward Lisa and her companion. Both friends ran toward each other, smiling and hugging tightly. As they reunited, their attention turned toward the opposite direction, where Jungkook and Lisa's boyfriend, Jimin, had coincidentally met.
Lisa introduced her boyfriend with a playful tone, saying, "Yn, meet my boyfriend, Jimin." Yn's eyes widened in surprise as she glanced at Jungkook, who, seemingly unfazed, displayed no immediate reaction.
Yn couldn't resist making a teasing comment, "So, your boyfriend is my husband's best friend?" This remark caught the attention of Jungkook, Lisa, and Jimin, all of whom turned to look at her inquisitively. Amused by the situation, Lisa and Jimin chimed in, teasingly saying, "My husband?" They shared a laugh, and Jimin added, "It turns out the Jungkook we all knew was one."
The atmosphere lightened up with laughter, except for Jungkook, who seemed somewhat aloof. Yn took note of his subdued reaction as they continued with introductions, officially welcoming Jimin into the family fold.
As the party continued, everyone grew closer and more familiar with each other. Yn cherished the moments with her family, but eventually, the time came for them to leave. She hugged her parents tightly, trying to hold back tears, and then bid her sister goodbye. Mr. Jeon suggested that Jimin and Lisa should also head home to give Jungkook and Yn some privacy. However, Yn insisted that they stay, and Jimin didn't seem eager to leave either. They decided to stay the night, keeping their plans a secret from the family.
Once they were alone in their room, an argument broke out between Yn and Jungkook.
