Yn's pov:
After a refreshing bath, I couldn't resist the urge to peek outside the bathroom door. The hallway beyond was empty, and I hesitated for a moment before venturing down the stairs.
As I descended, my heart began to race. I couldn't help but feel a sense of anticipation, knowing that Jungkook was somewhere in the house. My steps echoed softly in the grand foyer, and I couldn't help but wonder what awaited me.
And there, in the midst of it all, I found myself welcomed by the piercing intensity of Jungkook's eyes. His gaze bore into me, and for a moment, I felt as though he could see through the layers of my thoughts and emotions. It was a look that carried an inexplicable hint of anger, though I couldn't fathom why.
Instinctively, I smiled, attempting to break the tension that seemed to hang in the air. I made my way to the dining area and chose a seat directly opposite Jungkook, almost as if by chance. The placement was intriguing, almost as if the universe had conspired to bring us face to face.
As I settled into my seat, I couldn't help but think, "What a stroke of luck."
Amidst the clinking of utensils and the soft hum of conversation, I found myself stealing secretive glances at Jungkook. His enigmatic presence at the table continued to pique my curiosity, and I couldn't help but wonder about the thoughts hidden behind his stoic facade.
However, the tranquil atmosphere suddenly shifted as the dining table conversation veered towards an unexpected topic—the subject of marriage. Both Mr. Jeon and Mr. Jung seemed to be engrossed in a discussion, their voices carrying weighty undertones.
Mr. Jeon's words caught me completely off guard as he remarked, "I think it's time for YN and Jungkook to get married."
