As the anticipation swirled within me, I hastily fixed myself up and descended the stairs with a boundless enthusiasm that was hard to contain. A joyful smile played on my lips as I approached the living room, curiosity sparking in my eyes.

Peeking into the room, I couldn't help but feel a burst of excitement. [Mr. Jung] Appa, who had noticed my arrival, called out to me with a warm and welcoming smile. My cheeks flushed with embarrassment at the attention, and I quickly made my way over to them.

With a polite bow, I greeted the Jeon family, who were seated in the living room. It was a surreal moment, meeting the family my parents had cherished for years. My heart raced with a mixture of excitement and nervousness as I exchanged pleasantries.

Mrs. Jeon, a kind and elegant woman, couldn't contain her admiration. She patted my arm affectionately and exclaimed, "Omo, she is beautiful!" Her compliment made my cheeks flush with shyness, and I responded with a humble "Thank you" while offering her a grateful smile.

As I looked around the room, taking in the warm and familiar faces, my gaze landed on someone around my age. It was Jiso, the younger member of the Jeon family. Our eyes met, and a smile naturally spread across my face. Jiso mirrored my smile, and we exchanged polite yet charming introductions.

"Hello, I'm YN," I said, my voice filled with warmth.

Jiso's eyes sparkled with friendliness as she replied, "Hi, I'm Jiso. It's nice to meet you, YN."

Our introductions were both polite and cute, reflecting the initial spark of a potential friendship. I couldn't help but feel a sense of connection with Jiso, as if we were destined to meet on this day.

With a playful glint in my eye, I leaned closer to Jiso and whispered, "Hey, would you like to roam around the city with me?"

Jiso's face lit up with excitement as she eagerly nodded. "Yes, that sounds like so much fun!"

We exchanged enthusiastic glances and quickly sought permission from our respective families. With their blessings and well wishes, we stepped outside, ready to explore the vibrant city together.

The moment we stepped outside, I couldn't resist inhaling the fresh, invigorating air. It was as if the city itself was welcoming us with open arms, ready to be explored. Jiso, noticing my deep breath, chuckled and shared my sentiment.

"You felt bored back there too, didn't you?" Jiso's eyes twinkled with amusement as she spoke.

I couldn't help but laugh in agreement. "Guilty as charged. It's nice to break away from the usual routine sometimes."

With our steps in sync, we continued on our way to the nearby park. As we strolled through the quiet streets, we engaged in conversation about our families and their respective businesses. It was a chance to learn more about each other and the worlds we came from.

Curiosity got the best of me, and I couldn't help but ask, "Didn't you mention having a brother? I think I recall you saying something like that."

Jiso grinned and cast a sidelong glance my way. "Oh, you have a good memory! Yes, I do have a brother. He should be coming back soon, I think."

My curiosity piqued, I nodded and pressed for more details, "Tell me about him. What's he like?"

Jiso's smile widened as she contemplated her response. "Well, he's quite something. You'll see when he gets here."

The day had been a whirlwind of adventure, laughter, and delectable treats as Jiso and I explored the city together. Our shared moments were filled with candid conversations, playful banter, and endless discoveries. As the sun dipped lower in the sky, casting a warm golden hue over the city, we reluctantly decided to head back home.

The sound of our laughter rang through the air, a testament to the joyous time we had spent together. It felt as though the day had flown by in an instant, leaving behind cherished memories and a deepening bond of friendship.

As we approached the house, the sound of Jiso's laughter echoed in my ears, a melody of happiness that brightened my heart. She casually mentioned,

"Oh, I guess Jungkook must be here."
