As Jungkook retreated from my room, his parting words lingering like an ominous cloud, I felt like a statue, frozen in place. My heart pounded heavily in my chest, and my breathing came in uneven gasps as I tried to process the encounter. It was as though he held some mysterious power over me, a force I couldn't quite comprehend.

Lisa's voice on the phone jolted me back to reality, and I quickly greeted her, feeling a rush of relief at her presence. She began to speak, warning me about the danger that seemed to surround Jungkook, but before she could finish her sentence, I interjected, "But, Lisa, it's how that danger seems to control me that both terrifies and intrigues me."

Lisa and I exchanged knowing glances, our unspoken thoughts mingling in the air. There was an undeniable allure in the enigmatic presence of Jungkook, a magnetic pull that defied explanation.

Just then, a knock on the door disrupted our conversation, and I called for the person to enter.

I held my breath, praying silently that the figure in the doorway wasn't Jungkook.

It wasn't. Thank God.

Jiso, the young woman I had met earlier, stepped into the room, and I offered her a warm smile. I introduced Lisa and Jiso to each other, and as we exchanged pleasantries, I decided to end my call with Lisa.

With the call disconnected, Jiso turned her attention to me and made a request. "Can we go to the balcony?"

As Jiso and I settled into our seats on the balcony, I couldn't help but gaze up at the night sky. The chilly wind rustled through my hair, and the moon cast a soft, ethereal glow over the dark expanse. My thoughts were tangled in uncertainty, my future bound to a man who had ominously warned of making my life a living hell.

A melancholic smile played on my lips as I continued to contemplate my predicament. Lost in my thoughts, I barely noticed Jiso's calm voice when she spoke, "Look how the moon makes the night sky so noticeable."

I turned to her, her gaze fixed on the sky, and nodded in agreement.

"YN," she called out to me. Her voice held a hint of sadness as she addressed me, calling me by my name.

I met her eyes, eager to understand the words she was about to share.

"I want you to understand something about my brother," Jiso began, her voice carrying a depth of emotion. "I know he may seem cold and distant, but deep down, he's been through a lot. Our family's expectations have weighed heavily on him, shaping him into the person he is today. I hope you can see past his tough exterior and give him a chance because beneath it all, he's a person who deserves love and understanding just like anyone else."

As I listened to her heartfelt plea, I couldn't help but be moved by the tears in Jiso's eyes.

Jiso continued, her voice filled with sorrow, "It's true, he's been through hell, and now he's caught in a cycle of making others suffer. He believes he doesn't deserve love, but maybe it's the love he needs most to break free from his own torment."

Tears welled up in my own eyes as I looked at Jiso, our connection deepening with each passing word.

I felt something within me, something more profound than sympathy. I yearned to stand by him, not just now, but in the days to come.

She gazed into my eyes, her tears flowing freely, and I held her hands tightly, silently conveying my support and understanding.

She gazed into my eyes, her tears flowing freely, and I held her hands tightly, silently conveying my support and understanding.

"I want you to be the moon in his..." Jiso began, but before she could finish, I softly interjected, "...in his night sky." We shared a bittersweet smile,Jiso's grip on my hand tightened, and a sense of understanding passed between us. In that moment, we didn't need words to express the depth of our bond and the hope for a better future, our hearts heavy yet hopeful, and we embraced, finding solace in each other's unwavering support.
