The morning of my wedding had arrived, and I stood before the mirror, my heart brimming with a mixture of excitement and emotion. As I gazed at my reflection, a sense of awe washed over me. The makeup, the hair, the elegant gown—it was all breathtaking, and I couldn't help but feel truly beautiful. I smiled at myself, admiring the transformation.

In the midst of my self-reflection, the door slowly swung open, revealing my father, Mr. Jung. His presence brought an immediate warmth to the room, and I greeted him with a radiant smile, my eyes starting to well up with tears of happiness.

"Appa," I said softly, my voice filled with emotion. I turned to face him, my heart feeling immeasurably grateful for this moment. I couldn't help but ask, "How does your princess look?"

My father's eyes glistened with pride and love as he looked at me. He replied with a gentle smile, "Charming beyond words."

His words touched my heart deeply, and I felt the tears brimming in my eyes. He approached me, and I moved closer, wrapping my arms around him in a tight embrace. It was a hug filled with all the love and affection we had shared over the years.

As he held me, he gently lifted my chin, making me meet his eyes. His words were both comforting and bittersweet. "I don't ever want to see you cry, YN," he said, his voice filled with paternal love. "I know Jungkook will make you happy."

I nodded, trying to hold back the tears that threatened to fall. Deep inside, I couldn't help but think, It hurts how much you believe in him, but I knew my father's words were filled with nothing but good intentions. I squeezed his hand in reassurance, silently vowing to cherish the love and happiness that awaited me in this new chapter of my life.

As I walked down the aisle, clutching my father's hand tightly, my heart pounded with both excitement and trepidation. We came to a stop at the entrance to the aisle, and I took a deep breath, feeling the weight of the moment. My father gave me an encouraging smile, and I nodded in determination.

"Let's go," he whispered, his voice filled with warmth and support.

I squeezed my hand into a fist, my way of steeling myself for what lay ahead. With newfound resolve, I replied, "Let's do it."

As we began our walk down the aisle, the gathered crowd erupted into applause. I glanced upward, focusing on the ceiling, as I took slow, steady breaths to calm my racing heart. The wedding setting was nothing short of breathtaking, an exquisite display of beauty and elegance that took my breath away.

My gaze swept across the room, and I couldn't help but notice the familiar faces that had come to witness this momentous occasion

My gaze swept across the room, and I couldn't help but notice the familiar faces that had come to witness this momentous occasion. There was Uncle Jeon, looking handsome and distinguished in his suit, a warm smile on his face as he locked eyes with mine. Aunt Jeon wore a lovely pink dress that suited her perfectly, her presence radiating love and joy.

My heart ached when I saw my mother, her eyes glistening with tears. The thought of leaving her and not being there to cook for her weighed heavily on my mind. She was beautiful, as always, and I couldn't help but chuckle at my own thoughts, finding solace in a moment of levity amidst the gravity of the situation.

And then, there was Jennie, my sister, my best friend. She looked absolutely stunning, her eyes mirroring the tears of joy in our mother's. She flashed me a thumbs-up, and I nodded professionally, a silent understanding passing between us.

Lastly, my gaze landed on him, Jungkook, standing there in his impeccably tailored suit, looking every bit as handsome as he was cold. His smirk was unmistakable, and I knew what it meant.

It wasn't what I had hoped for, but it was the most I could expect from this contract marriage

It wasn't what I had hoped for, but it was the most I could expect from this contract marriage.

After all, for him, it was just a contract, nothing more.
