Chaeyoung's POV
It was the end of the week and I was closing up the bakery making sure everything was set before I left.
Lisa lingers like she always did she was always working on something new in the kitchen, and she often used me as a guinea pig to test her newest creations.
She always left me swooning over her baked goods; I swear I gained a few pounds from the sweets I ingested.
Yes I'm a baker as well but I do not gorge myself on sweets constantly I have to restrain myself from doing so, Lisa however has an addictive ingredient added to her sweets.
"Hey Lisa are you ready to leave?" I asked her walking into the kitchen she was cleaning up.
"Yeah I was just cleaning up my mess, I'm sorry if I held you up." She said apologetically.
"You didn't hold me up I just got finished with something so your fine." I said to her.
She hangs up the apron she had on and she grabs her things from one of the cubbies and we walk towards the exit.
Lisa waited outside while I set the alarm, once it was set I joined her.
"So what were you working on in there?" I asked as we walked to our cars.
"It's a surprise." She shoots me a smile.
I smiled back. "Is it crazy to say that I'm really anticipating whatever it is?
"She shakes her head and emitted a small chuckle. "No it's not crazy it really flattering though."
"Can you blame me; you make the most delectable and tasty morsels out there." I complemented. "I have gotten amazing reviews since you got here, I mean the business was good before but it's thriving now business has never been so good."
"Wow, I had no idea that's amazing." She said.
"You're right it is amazing." We get to our cars and I stopped and faced her.
"So it's kind of a tradition we started once ever month everyone in the bakery goes to the beach it's an amazing place to hang out and bond as friends because that's what we are first and foremost.
I was wondering if you'd like to join us." I offered.
"Yeah that sounds amazing." She says with a smile.
I returned the smile. "Great, you can meet us at the entrance at eleven we like to go early because of the kids." I said to her.
"Okay, I'll see you then." She says.
I pulled her into a hug, which she always seemed stunned by but I just brush it off. "See you tomorrow." I pulled from the hug and we went our separate ways.
After picking up the boys I head to the store to pick up something's for the beach tomorrow.
Of course on my visit to the store I bought extra things for Zach he couldn't leave the store without getting another pack of hot wheels.
Zach really had an unhealthy obsession with cars.
Once we got home I started preparing dinner I decided to make lasagna and a batch of chocolate chip cookies homemade of course, that Zach helped me make.
While the lasagna was in the oven I played with the boys I had Skylar standing with my support in hopes to get him to walk but he just wouldn't do it.
"Come on baby walk for mommy." I said to him.
He smiles then started on a baby rant.
"Not today huh?" I asked him.
He shook his head 'no' it was so adorable.
