Chaeyoung's POV
The rest of the week has been going pretty good I was glad that I got Lisa to talk to me she started making cinnamon buns again also.
She has become a really close friend and I valued the relationship we had and I wanted to be careful not to fuck it up again.
It was our break time and I decided to take a walk down the block to get some coffee I was in great need of it.
Walking past the kitchen I see Lisa standing off in thought, I wondered what was going through that pretty little head of hers.
"Lisa I'm about to walk and get some coffee do you want to come with me?" I offered.
She smiles. "Sure let me just grab some money."
"No it's okay it's on me." I said.
"Chae you don't have to-'' I cut her off.
"It's just a cup of coffee Lisa, come on." I said and she followed me out of the bakery.
We walked to the café in silence but it wasn't bad we were both trying to get our bearings back.
"I'm sorry to be so quiet but things just seem a little different between us now." Lisa says.
"Well you were the one who kissed me." I joked.
She laughs. "Shut up, you said you liked it.
"I smile at her. "See it's not so weird anymore right? I don't want it to be weird between us."
"Your right, so are you doing anything tonight?" She asked.
"Well its Eunwoo's night with the boys I won't have them until later on so I'm free until eight." I said.
"Would you like to hang out with me after work?" She suggested.
"Sure what'd you have in mind?" I said opening the door to the café we finally made it to.
She walks in and I follow after her.
She just gives me a smile. "It's a surprise." She says.
I raised my eyebrows. "Oh a surprise I don't do very well with those." I joked.
"Trust me okay." She continued with that amazing smiled.
I couldn't say no to her. "Sure, but just remember I have two kids and they will miss me when I'm gone." I teased.
She laughs. "Hush it Chae and buy me that damn coffee you promised."
"Feisty little Thai are you now." I continued with the teasing.
"I don't think I could handle you." She laughed out.
I give her a sideways glance. "Who's to say how much you can handle?" I said not looking for a response, but her face told it all.
Lisa and I continued with our banter once I purchased the coffee and we made our way back to the bakery.
...
The work day was coming to an end and I was finishing up with all of the last minute customers when I hear the bell ring signaling another one.
I looked up to see the florist the same florist that was at the party with Lisa and kissed her.
I didn't ask Lisa about it because I didn't want to seem intrusive but I worried about it about them if there was a them.
She walks right up to the counter with a smile on her face and I wondered what the hell she was so happy about, I smiled back to be friendly.
