I quickly jumped back to my feet and fired a lightning round of ammunition that Ottomo quickly dodged before charging directly at me. Realizing that the tight corridors and close proximity to the coolant pump controls made the location a poor environment for an all-out fight. Learning this meant I'd have to lead Ottomo to a more optimal arena. Using my shawl, I teleported out of Ottomo's way and towards the end of the hallway from before running back towards the entrance of the reactor room. As I ran, I heard Ottomo make a taunting remark before pursuing me through the hallways of the reactor. Though Ottomo was most definitely faster than me, I noticed it wasn't optimized for making sharp turns, which allowed me to put further distance between us. Seeing the entrance of the reactor room, I readied my grappling hook and fired it at the ceiling just outside the reactor room. The result of this put me in the prime location to ambush Ottomo when he exited the reactor room. Sure enough, Ottomo rushed out of the reactor room, and I released my grappling hook to then fire a buckshot at the wall to launch me at the mechanical menace.
Ottomo's reaction was swift as it quickly turned and grabbed my arm as I attempted to jab it to siphon some energy to empower myself. Ottomo's torso rotated rapidly, spinning me around like a twister before letting go. I flew into a wall some twenty feet away, impacting it with enough force to crack the concrete wall slightly. Groaning, I got back to my feet and faced the mechanical butler, ready to go.
Ottomo: "Sorry Ms. Dahlia, but my proximity sensors make ambushes impossible. As I was made to be the most efficient artificial soldier."
Dahlia: "That or you're merely the means of Tom overcompensating for something."
I grinned smugly under my veil, as I heard the muffled shouts of Tom, clearly outraged at me for damaging his ego. Seeing an opportunity, I teleported again to get behind Ottomo and kick the mecha's legs out from under it. Ottomo landed flat on its back as I quickly disengaged while reloading my grenade launcher prosthetic with ice and lightning shot ammo. It was clear that Ottomo was a superior close-range combatant. To get close would require me to limit his maneuverability. As I loaded the last shot into my grenade launcher, Ottomo quickly got up and closed the distance between us as I barely dodged a punch that left an indent of a fist in the concrete wall where my head had been seconds before.
I fired an ice shot at the arm that just punched the wall, covering the metallic arm in crystal blue ice in seconds. Ottomo attempted to strike me with his unfrozen arm, which I blocked with my grenade launcher prosthetic. The resultant sound of metal scraping metal was deafening as I used the momentum of Ottomo's strike to pivot the arm away from me, opening up an opportunity where I was able to get a high kick at Ottomo's head. The ice shattered as Ottomo's arm broke free and caught me in the shoulder blade and began to grapple me as the other arm quickly followed to strengthen the restraining hold.
Ottomo: "Mr. Lorenzo would like you to re-enter his services. Please make the right decision and come willingly."
Dahlia: "Sorry, but I decline!"
With my grenade arm restrained to my side, I fired an electrical grenade at the floor. As the grenade exploded into an outburst of electricity, I felt muscles contract as the electricity overcharged my nervous system like copper wire. The pain was truly terrible, but it did what I wanted it to do and momentarily overcharged Ottomo's electrical systems. Seeing my opportunity to gain the upper hand, I jabbed my hand into Ottomo's chest and felt energy surge through my body, just as it did in the park. The electrical burst I released sent Ottomo flying several feet as the familiar sensation of all lethargy evaporating away. Ottomo got back on its feet and charged towards me, his arms outstretched and torso spinning like the rotor of a helicopter. I stood my ground deciding to use the experimental drug that me and the ASG Holiday Operative took to see if I could replicate a particular trick Black Dahlia could pull off in the game. I held my arms outstretched with my back straight preparing myself to react to the oncoming attack. Just as one of Ottomo's arms was about to strike me, I saw everything move slower than it should. As the arm moved to strike my torso I simply ducked underneath the arm and released a fearsome kick into Ottomo's chest that immediately caused Ottomo to stagger from the counter.
