My fortress had been taken over by my entire family, my father had convinced the guests patrolling our family home, that we he wanted to remodel. "To ensure his grandchildren had more room to grow." He continued to have his staff work the home, they were our eyes and ears. Security had placed silent alarms throughout the property taking out those who attempted to touch what belonged to us. What belonged to me. I relished watching those beneath us squirm, throughout all our hardship, and loss. We earned our way to the top; I earned my place. My children were ensured to live a life without pain, struggle, and if we could prevent it death.

"Haven, slow down I need to guard you. "Kara groaned, panting as she reached for her water. I took a step back, stretching as she replenished her thirst. I wouldn't admit it, but Kara had grown on me. I enjoyed her company, and she seemed to enjoy mine.

"Kara, maybe you should sit this round out." I winked, teasing her. Taunting Kara had become one of my favorite pass times.

"When hell freezes over Im Haven." Kara growled annoyed at my taunting.

"I can arrange that..." I snickered, giving Kara a taste of her own medicine, gave me a sense of satisfaction. "Come on, if you aren't in pain, I am losing my touch." I winked, sticking out my tongue before taking off. Kara let out a frustrated huff behind me.

Kara and I finished another lap, whipping the sweat from our foreheads. Kara nonchalantly walked over to her backpack, as the trees began to sway. Our fun had was over, we had company. Kara stood beside me placing my gun in my hand, resting it against the small of my back.

"Kara, I don't recognize the helicopter, I need you to let our team know we need back up." Kara rested her elbow on my shoulder, twisting her fingers in my hair.

"I already did, play along we need to stall." I swallowed nervously; I didn't want to fight.

Kara and I could hear the helicopter coming closer, the blade slashed through the air, as its massive black shell landed in front of us. The company had tinted the windows, whoever they were they did not want us to see them. We stood waiting for the strangers to step out, but they sat waiting. What were they waiting for? Did they expect us to run? Were they even here for us? Kara and I stayed in our position watching them, as they stared back through the tinted glass.

A familiar hand rested on the side of my waist, pulling me into a sweet, unexpected kiss.

"My empress, its time...do what you must, I will return to you." Changkyun brushed his nose against mine, whispering lowly into my lips.

"Are you protected my love?" I stood on my tip toes, twining my fingers into his hair.

"Yes, become a widow baby." I frowned; I didn't want to part with Changkyun.

"I love you, let me take the bullet for you." I fought my tears as the helicopter doors opened.

"You took a bullet for me already, it's my turn to take it for you. Follow the clues, I leave behind." Changkyun lips crashed into mine, pressing my body against his. Changkyun turned my body away from the impact of the bullet. Our lips parted as Changkyun's body fell to the ground. I wasn't sure what happened after that, I could only focus on my husband's lifeless body lying next to me. He was supposed to be protected. Pain, anger, sorrow, ran through my core. I could hear our team coming to take over, but I...I lost it.

"Remember where your home is." I pressed my lips against Changkyun's one more time, before I walked away, the tears fell from my eyes effortlessly burning my skin as each one fell from my cheeks. I didn't know if Changkyun was going to get through this, but those who harmed him were going to feel my wrath. I didn't see Changkyun's body being taken away, but when I turned my head looking back, he was gone.

"You have my attention." I cried, my heart ached, I didn't want to give them the satisfaction of seeing my grief, my hurt, or my anger. They were going to feel it, their boss would witness who they fucked with. Kara wasn't too far behind me, she wasn't breathless like before, she was poised.

"Haven, they have been wired. One wrong move and you will be not only leaving your children without a father, but you will also be leaving them without a mother. I clenched my jaw, pressing forward, I could hear Kara trying to reason with me, but I could only focus on the pain, I could only focus on Changkyun.

"They know war is coming their way, they are prepared...before you go on a murdering rampage, we need to know who our enemy is. I am sorry baby; I can't let you go that easy. "Jungkook placed his hands over my shoulders holding me back.

"Changkyun is dead! You expect me to let this slide?!" I fought his hold on my body, watching the nameless men climb into the unknown black helicopter. Jungkook didn't say a word, he only took control of me, tightening his hold around my petite frame. I wanted the world to burn, I needed to get to my husband faster than what everyone wanted. Why wouldn't they let me go? Let me fight? I made a vow to myself, to my children I would get my revenge, I would destroy anyone who got in my way. I would use anyone I seen that could lead me back to Changkyun. My life began with him, it would end with him. My blood may have Akito running through its veins, but my name was and is Im Haven. My husband, by lover, my best friend....my world belonged with Im Changkyun.
