Seeing Nina again had been on the bottom of Krist's list of wants in life. It had been the first time he had seen her since she had broken his nose and it was evident she still maintained a significant amount of animosity towards him. That was fine.

The only positive about seeing her was the fact he no longer had any doubt of remaining feelings for her and if anything, his feelings for Atira had strengthened.

Krist squeezed Atira's thigh, "I love you, baby," he murmured.

"I love you, Krist," She replied. Atira's eyebrows furrowed as she drove, "I need to ask you something."

"Anything, babe."

She glanced over, slowing the BMW as she pulled into his apartment parking lot, "Do you have any feelings still for Nina? Like, did seeing her make you feel anything?" She blurted out, her brown eyes glossy.

"Not at all," he admitted.

"Would you tell me if you did?"

"Baby, I have no feelings for her, or anyone else. You're the only woman I want to be with and even when I was with Nina, you were the only person I wanted." He meant every single word he was saying. It was true. Had Atira shown up when he was with Nina, even during Nina's pregnancy, he would have dipped out without a second thought.

"You promise me that you don't have any feelings for her?" She asked again.

"I promise. On everything I love, I don't have any feelings for her. And honestly, it was weird as hell seeing her again," Krist chuckled. "The last time I saw her, she broke my fuckin' nose."

Atira looked appalled, "What?! Why?!"

"She went through my phone and wasn't happy about what she found," he confessed. "I had it coming but goddamn, that was not how I wanted to be woken up."

Atira forced a smile, "That's crazy, babe," She told him, brushing a hair from her face. "So, is it just Fernando going with you to Jeordie's tomorrow?"

"Yes," he assured her, "You can come too, I can just meet Fernando there."

Atira's insecurity wanted to tag along to make sure Krist behaved himself or that no other women were present but at the same time, she felt uneasy around Fernando. The way he'd looked at her and flirted had made her uncomfortable, not that she would tell Krist that.

"It's okay, babe. I can totally hangout here and get caught up on my shows," she smiled.

Krist leaned in and kissed her, slipping his tongue into her open mouth. "Goddamn, I love you," he murmured, licking his lips, "Lets go home."

They'd barely set the bag of food down on the counter before Krist had taken Atira in a passionate frenzy. He wasn't playing about dicking her down by the tree, he'd been thinking about it all day. With Rocco gone, they were able to be as loud and as nasty as they wanted, wherever they wanted.

Krist and Atira had spent the remainder of Christmas in little to no clothes, making love, napping and eating their fill of holiday leftovers. The day had been enjoyable and the two slept well that night.
