Atira sat at the edge of her seat in horror, "Worse than being homeless and stealing from his family?" She clarified.
"Yeah. Somehow, he managed to get worse," Cami shook her head in disbelief. "I'm gonna be blunt with you-"
"I'll say you've been pretty blunt with me this whole time," Atira said.
"You know what? Someone needs to be."
Atira nodded in agreement. "Honestly, I'm glad you are telling me this. Don't get me wrong, I still love him with all my heart, but I don't know if he would have told me?"
"Atira, I can tell you for a fact he would not have. Absolutely not. I know that, to an extent, he probably feels ashamed of himself and doesn't want you to think less of him. However, I also feel like he also still has this attitude where because he was actively using during all this shit that it excuses his behavior. And it doesn't. He has done and said so much shit to me that I can't completely forgive him. My brother, Daniel, is the same way, and I cut him out of my life completely because of it...Remember when I said that Krist can be mean when he is high?"
Atira nodded, "His mom actually said the same thing to me, that he can be mean."
"So...mean is an understatement. Tell Krist you won't let him stay with you or give him money after he's been up for almost a week and is out of dope. He will say some of the most disgusting, hateful things you've ever heard. He's called me a miserable fat fucking bitch, fat cunt. He told his mom that he hoped she gets cancer and dies. Some of the shit I've heard him say to Lainey....was somehow even worse?"
Atira was mortified, "What the heck...Like how bad?"
"Bad. This is one of the incidents I was about to tell you about. Once, he and Lainey were fighting, and she had it streamed on Facebook live..."

The rain fell on the metal railing in rhythmic drops as Krist sat on the balcony with Jeordie. He felt empty like a chunk of him was gone. It was gone. Atira had left and wasn't coming back.
"You think Atira is still at your house?" He asked gloomily.
"I don't know, dawg. Cami hasn't texted me at all." Jeordie told him.
"Can you call and find out?" Krist pressed. If he could know that Atira was still in Vancouver, he could maintain some level of hope that she might come back. He just needed to know where she was.

"So I don't know why but Krist's girlfriends always streamed their shit on Live. Heather did it, and Lainey did it. Like we all don't need video proof to know your relationship is toxic," Cami laughed.
"Anyway, he and Lainey are screaming at each other because Krist had split her lip open. I don't know what led up to it, but everyone is like, 'You need to call the cops. He's abusing you. He's a piece of shit'. Lainey is like, 'I told you, Krist, you're a piece of shit. Everyone knows it.'
"'Krist is like, 'you fucking whore, show them what you did to me. Tell them how I caught you suckin' that dude's dick in my car.' And then she starts going off on him about some other shit," Cami took a breath.
"He caught Lainey cheating on him?" Atira interrupted.
Cami rolled her eyes, "I took it with a grain of salt. I don't know if she was cheating or they were split up. Who knows?
"Anyway, things start getting bad. He had gone outside and was smoking on their deck. Lainey is still live-streaming, and she's like, 'Just give me the word, and I'm gonna throw this pot at this piece of shit's head.' People in the comments are like, 'Do it! Do it!'
