Halloween Special

October 31 is a day for spooky festivities. Most people go trick or treating, to small festivals, or hang out at haunted houses. On the other hand, Scaramouche and Kazuha don't have much planned for tonight.

It's currently 7:00 p.m., and Kazuha is struggling to get Scaramouche to wear his costume.

"Scara! Put on your costume now. We've planned out these costumes for months, and I'm already wearing mine, so wear yours," Kazuha says.

Scaramouche groans as he throws himself onto Kazuha's bed. "I don't want to. I feel stupid wearing that ridiculous costume."

Kazuha mischievously smiles, "Really? Aww, but I thought you looked so handsome in it."

Scaramouche remains unfazed by Kazuha's words. He turns over on the bed to face the wall. Kazuha doesn't get his hopes up and instead tries to think of something that will mess with Scaramouche. Kazuha picks up Akiba and carries her towards the door of the room.

"Fine. I guess you can stay here while I dress Akiba in her costume so we can go get some candy." Kazuha reaches for the doorknob, and before he swings the door open, he feels an arm around his waist.

"Wait, let's calm down. I'll dress up in my costume and go with you guys." Scaramouche says.

Kazuha snickers, "I can't believe you switched up so fast because I said Akiba was dressing up in a costume."

Scaramouche grabs Akiba from Kazuha's arms. "Of course, you idiot. I want to see our baby in a costume."

Kazuha walks over to the other side of the room to grab Scaramouche's Halloween costume. He hands it over to Scaramouche. "Here. Put it on." Scaramouche sighs and sets Akiba down on the floor. He whispers, "I'm only doing this for you, Akiba."

After Scaramouche leaves to go change inside the bathroom, Kazuha grabs Akiba's pumpkin costume and struggles to put it on her. She isn't the biggest fan of the pumpkin costume, but Kazuha was determined to put it on her since he knew it would make Scaramouche happy. Once Kazuha successfully puts the costume on, he takes pictures with Akiba as he waits for Scaramouche.

A hesitant voice can be heard on the other side of Kazuha's door. "I feel so stupid in this costume. This is embarrassing."

Kazuha ignores Scaramouche and instead starts teasing him by pretending that he didn't hear him. "Akiba, you look so cute! Here, come closer so we can take more pictures together."

Scaramouche swings the door open and rushes into the room. He sweeps Akiba away from Kazuha's arms and admires her beauty. Kazuha rolls his eyes and says, "I swear you love that cat more than me."

Scaramouche nods. "Yeah, I do." Scaramouche lays on the bed and cuddles up with Akiba.

Kazuha begins to get annoyed. "It's almost as if you forgot you're wearing a costume you were just complaining about a few moments ago. You said it was embarrassing, now look at you."

He walks up to his mirror and makes some final touches to his costume. Kazuha dressed up as a vampire this year. He's wearing a red suit with a white ruffled collar, a black cape, a red ruby on his chest, red dress pants, and black dress shoes. He's also wearing a lot of gold jewelry, like rings and a chain brooch. He put on some fake fangs that were accompanied by fake blood around the corners of his mouth. He spent a month watching videos on how to do special effects makeup so the blood could be as realistic as possible. Scaramouche's costume is quite different. He was wearing a jester costume, which was Kazuha's idea. Kazuha told Scaramouche that he chose the costume because it best matched his personality, and, of course, Scaramouche agreed to the costume. He does have a hard time saying no to Kazuha after all. Scaramouche is also wearing a white button-up collar shirt with a red blazer on top that has white ruffled sleeves, a black and blue bowtie, and a jester hat where half of it is red and the other half is blue. All Scaramouche needs is face paint.
