Park Hae-Ri (Female lead)

She's in her 2/4 year of university in Seoul. She's tall, slim and 20 years old. She's a mix of a Korean (Seoul) and an Indian(Mizoram). She has a brother, Park Ho-Jin, who's a year older than her and in the same University.

She's very likeable, but isn't someone who prefers socialising a lot. She's not exactly introverted, but doesn't open up to anyone very easily. She tries to give her best in everything she does, and is always quick at her feet. She's a brilliant singer, and wishes to be a fashion designer in the future. one of the top students in her class, which is one of the reasons that she gets unwanted, negative attention. One of the things that she lacks is good memory.

She always wants the best for her close friends, but hides a lot of her emotions, scared of upsetting them. She has a lot of fears which unfortunately, she has to deal with, herself.

Hae-Ri is a huge foodie, but hates cooking ("Why not earn some money and go out for a meal, instead of spending hours in the kitchen?" she says.)

Jessica Myres (Second Female lead)

She's short, bubbly, and full of life. She's in Hae-Ri's class, and is best friends with her. She's originally from Australia, but moved to Korea independently, at the age of 16 for her studies and to follow her dreams.

She's that one friend who can cheer you up in whatever situation you're in. When you're next to her, you can feel the flow of positivity all around you. She's very sporty, and is on the tennis team. She's popular, but doesn't get easily influenced by the crowd. She's a huge animal-lover, and is always ready to adopt any stray.

Despite her happy personality, sometimes, Jessica tends to take things too seriously, which ruins her state of mind. Due to her past (most of her friends ended up ghosting her), she feels insecure, and always has to keep reminding herself that her current friends aren't like that.

Jessica is an average student in most subjects, but surprisingly, is a maths genius! She's also pretty good at English, which is the language that she has spoken all her life.

Jeon Hae-Jun (Male Lead)

He's taller than most guys, and has the classic Korean features. He's 21 years old, in the same university as Hae-Ri, and in his 3/4 year. He's Korean, but was born in the United States of America.

He's a very quiet person, and doesn't like large gatherings. He's also very popular, but doesn't actually have any real friends. He loves cooking, plays guitar, and is great at illustrating. He's a straight A student, but would never brag about it. He's often stressed, but doesn't want to bother his hardworking single-mom.

Hae- jun is determined to get a high-paying job in the future, so that he can be independent and can also support his family. He's careful about not having high expectations from anyone, because he has plenty of experience of being let down.

He longs for a friend with whom he can share his thoughts and feelings with; someone who'd be able to understand. Still, he's unsure about who to trust and who not to, due to his messed-up past (he was betrayed by his best friend who later bullied him).

Choi Min-Jae (Second Male Lead)

He's in Hae-Ri's class, too. He has an average height, but his facial features make up for it. He's the classic city boy from Seoul.

He's a loyal guy who'll always have your back. He'll do anything to help his friends get out of a tough situation, even if it means risking his reputation. He's not great at academics, but surely succeeds when he tries hard enough. He has a short temper, and lacks patience, which often gets him into trouble.

Min-Jae also plays the guitar really well, and sometimes performs at small cafés. He's definitely a people's pleaser. He cares too much about what other people think of him, and this takes up a lot of his time and energy.

Hae-Ri means a lot to him, as a friend, and he relies on her for a lot of things in his daily life (like learning English). He can't even imagine his life without her, as his friends mean a lot to him. He's also very close to his older brother, Choi Min-Woo, who's 3 years older than him.
