Today was our English test, and I'd say I did pretty well... so did Hae-Ri.

Later in the day, we had a new program where we collaborated with our seniors and visited monuments, traditional Korean places, Ginseng farms, etc. We were divided into 5 groups. Unfortunately, because Hae-Ri and my courses were completely different apart from our fashion designing class , we didn't get put together. On the bright side, Min-Jae and I were in the same group, which meant that we'd get some time to regain our friendship.

"Min-Jae! Did you read the list?" I asked.

"Yup, we're in the same group! I think that's great, because we haven't had much time to catch up lately, have we?" he grinned.

From there, we headed to our class together. I was pleasantly surprised that Ms.Kim, my favourite teacher, was incharge of our group.

"Nae Hakssengdeul, We'll be going on our first field-trip tomorrow. We're visiting one of the local markets to observe how it's different from our city life," Ms.Kim informed. (My students)

"Are we supposed to carry any cash?" Lee Jacob, the science geek asked.

"Nae. We'll be having lunch at the stalls. Please carry water, a notebook and pen, and your ID cards, too," Ms. Kim confirmed. (Yes)

Our group cheered loudly, as most of us loved field trips.

"Jessica?" someone said, tapping my shoulder, making me flinch because I was lost in thought.

I jerked my head and turned around. It was Hae-Ri's Oppa (elder brother), Park Ho-Jin.

"Eoh, annyeonghaseyo. Oettokhe jinae?" I asked in a goody-two-shoes-like voice. Although Ho-Jin and I were well-acquainted, we hadn't spoken in a while. (Oh, hello. How are you doing?)

"Jeoneun jaljinae. Neo?" he smiled. (I'm doing well. You?)

"Jaljinae," I replied. Good.

"So, we're in the same group...I guess it'll be nice to interact with you guys, we haven't really talked much lately, have we?" he said matter-of-factly.

"True. I would love to catch up!" I said immediately.

He nodded and walked away.

"It's been a while since you've spoken to him, right?" Min-Jae asked.

"Yeah...I mean, we used to be so casual with each other back in highschool. It's hard to imagine how different things used to be back then," I said, recalling our highschool years.

...

After the last class of the day, Hae-Ri and I met in the lounge.

"I've got nobody with me!" Hae-Ri cried.

"Hey, this could be a great opportunity for you to mingle with new people," I tried to comfort her.

"Yeah, I guess. By the way, Ho-Jin told me that he's in your group," she informed.

"Yeah, we met," I confirmed.
