உன் மார்பில் விழி மூடி
தூங்குகிறேன் தினமும் கனவில்
உன் ஆசை முகம் தேடி ஏங்குகிறேன்
விடியும் பொழுதில்.
(I am sleeping in your chest
in my dreams.
I am searching your adorable face
when I wake up)

The following morning, Krishna completed his morning rounds, assisted a heart surgery and it took about 10 o'clock to find time for his breakfast. Settling himself in his cabin to have breakfast, he pulled out his mobile phone to call Paayal.

He unlocked the display only to be greeted by twenty missed calls and two new messages. He was taken aback for a moment. He never encountered such a large number of missed calls from the day he bought the mobile. He swiftly clicked the missed calls tab and widened his eyes as one of the calls was from Ajay and the remaining 19 were from Paayal.

Without even opening the messages, he immediately dialled Paayal back, his heart racing in nervousness.

In another corner of the world, Paayal's mobile let out loud music along with vibrations. She immediately picked up the call.

"Paayal, What happened? Why did you call me these many times? Any problem??" Krishna sputtered even before she could utter a word.

Paayal pouted, "Yes. You said you will call me when you are free. But you didn't. Weren't you free for even a minute from the morning? I was scared whether you are alright."

"Idiot!" He smiled, taking a deep breath relaxingly and added, "I am alright. Happy and healthy!! I couldn't call you as I had morning rounds duty. Then, I was busy assisting a surgery from 8 o'clock. I always keep my mobile in silent mode during surgeries. Just now, I saw your missed calls."

"Oh, It's okay," Paayal smiled and added, "This mobile phone is spoiling my peacefulness,"

He laughed. "Why?"

"I told you once that I have two friends in Pune, right? They don't have mobile or landline telephones with them. I post letters to those friends sometimes and I would wait peacefully for days till the reply letters reach me. But, This mobile makes me scared even if you are not picking up the calls for a few hours. My mind thinks of reasons why you didn't pick up the call and my silly mind flashes a lot of reasons. Sometimes, scary reasons! I lose my peacefulness."

He laughed. "But the same mobile is helping you to speak with me even when I am out of home,"

"Yes. That's why I forgive this mobile," She sighed dramatically which sounded cute to him.

"Achoo, Chella kutty, you are so cute," He fondled.

Paayal smiled and added, "Okay. Leave it. Had your breakfast?"

"No. I am having now. What about you and Diya?"

"We had food by 8 itself."

"Hmm, Then, Don't call these many times, if I am not picking your calls. I myself will call you whenever I am free," He assured.

"Hmm," Paayal hummed.

"Then, When are you leaving for Madras?"

"Tomorrow morning,"

"Hmm, How many relatives will attend the wedding from your side?"

"Maybe around 150, including friends and our employees. We are not going to invite every relative of ours. We are going to invite only the people who wish good for us. I don't want anyone who gossips about my past or Diya's biological parents. I want our wedding to happen peacefully," She admitted.
