நல்ல நாள்தான்!
(Everyday is a good day!)

Four years later,

Krishna had completed his MD in cardiology and they returned to his home town which once had the name Madras, now Chennai. In the hearts of the city, They were constructing their own hospital where the medical needs of people would be attended without hefty price tags.

After invigilating the progress at the construction site, Krishna navigated the bustling streets in his two wheeler under the twilight sky and reached his home. The air in their home was charged with positivity, and a festive mode permeated the atmosphere. It was not new. Their home always had a festive mode. Where there is love, there is always a festivity.

The vibes of a Marathi song vibrated in the air. Their daughter Diya who was 7 years old by now and their son Vijay who was 4 years old by now were dancing hilariously yet cutely for the song, making the hall into a dance floor. Paayal was sitting on the sofa, clapping her hands, encouraging them.

Krishna couldn't help, but smile at the heartwarming sight in the hall. As soon as Paayal's eyes landed on him near the door, She exclaimed, "Krishna, See here. How cutely our children dance!"

His smile deepened as he responded, "Yes."

"Papa, You came! I love you." Diya declared while dancing, her eyes twinkling with affection.

He responded with an affectionate smile, "I too love you, kuttima."

"Appa, I love you." Vijay competed with his sister while dancing.

"I too love you, thangam (gold in tamil, used as an endearment too)." He replied with the same affectionate smile.

By this time, the song ended. The duo stopped their dance for a moment, catching their breaths.

"You both will become dancers, it seems." Krishna laughed, settling on the sofa near Paayal.

"Yes," Both Diya and Vijay jumped excitedly.

Before Krishna could respond, the next song played.

"Akka, Let's.. Let's dance." Vijay urged Diya and they resumed their delightful dance routine. Paayal and Krishna clapped their hands and admired their cute children.

Amidst the joyous atmosphere, Paayal's mobile buzzed with a message. She took her mobile and clicked open the message. It was a forward message. On reading it, she laughed. "Krishna, It's a forward message. It says kisses will burn calories. If it is the case, I should have become slimmer, right? But, I am becoming chubby day by day. I guess you didn't kiss me enough."

Before he could respond, Vijay stopped his legs and narrowed his eyes. "Amma, Why are you laughing?" He was just curious, as she suddenly laughed.

Krishna's eyes shifted to Vijay and replied in an affectionate tone, "You should learn a thing, dear. When someone is laughing, don't ask them why they are laughing. Laughing is good. Be happy that they are laughing and being happy. If someone cries, you can ask the reason to help them."

"Yes. Papa is right. Let them laugh. Let's dance," Diya announced, raising one of her hands, and held Vijay's hand with another hand, her feet dancing.

Innocent Vijay nodded his head without being able to understand anything and continued his dance. Krishna moved close to Paayal, and clutched her hand while whispering in a seductive yet warning voice, "What a humiliation to me! Come. Get up. Let's go to our room. Let me kiss you now and suck all your calories."
