Louis POV
It's been almost a month. Three weeks and five days to be exact. El and I had to end it. The fans are hysterical, some tweeting me and upwards of two hundred times per person demanding answers about their "larry" conspiracy. Eleanor is getting it bad too, but she hasn't said anything. That's smart of her. I can't keep my mouth shut, and that's what kills it. Last week Liam and Harry had to drag me from a fight with a fan who called El a dirty whore who was in it for the sex. Even after all this time I can't get her out of my head. I sigh to myself and pluck a few more chords on Niall's guitar. Mine is down at shop getting a new body job. I scratch a few things down on the notebook and then hum to myself.
If I could take it back I would,
But you won't give me the time of day
You know I only want you, but I don't think you see
The moments when I see your face, it makes me smile
For just a moment more.
I rub at my eyes and check the time on my phone. Just past three in the morning. I yawn suddenly realizing how tired I am but I have to finish this song. I have almost the entire thing completed and Niall always tells me to finish a song before I lose the drive. I stand and grab the notebook from the small table on the balcony of our hotel, and head inside. Leaning the guitar on the wall I start a pot of hot water and lean over the book. I tap my foot quickly trying to search for what I need to say. I scratch something down but then cross it out only to write it down again. A few more lyrics come to mind and I stare at the sheet.
The people tell us what to be,
but you can't take it anymore
No matter how many times I tell you I love you baby, you just walk away.
And the people keep on talking, they got what they wanted.
Now I'm all alone without you by my side oh,
and without you with me I've become blind
for just a moment more
I groan and reach to tear the page out but stop myself when I hear footsteps. I look up to see a sleepy faced Niall walking into the kitchen. He notices I'm wide awake and smiles lazily.
"What you still up for?" He asks and I sigh defeated.
"I've got the words in my head but they won't come out right." I say and he nods knowingly.
"You mind if I look?" He asks and I shrug.
"Can't hurt." I say and Niall sets a box of Capt'n Crunch on the table and slides the notebook closer to him. I stand and pull the pot off the burner and I pour myself a cup before inserting a tea bag and a lemon slice. Placing the chipped cup on the counter I let the leaves steep.
"It's a good song mate." He says and munches on a hand of dry cereal.
"It's depressing." I grumble. He smirks at me.
"Maybe so but you're not happy about you and El's split. It doesn't have to be a happy song." He says and slides the book back to me. "Keep hammerin' at it. I bet by morning you have the lyrics finished." He says and I smile at him.
"Thanks... I'll see you in the morning." I say and Niall nods and takes the box back to his room with him leaving a trail of crumbs with him. I sigh and continue to write some more lyrics down just letting the pen say what my head and heart mean.
You mean the world to me,
but I'll take any pain if it would make you happy
For just a moment more.
Anne POV
The annoying alarm of my phone awakes everyone in my hotel room. My sister groans and rolls over and my mum and dad both sit up slowly. I take my phone and turn it off before sitting up. I mumble something unmentionable under my breath about the time. Pulling my knees to my face I yawn and then quickly swing my feet over the side of the bed and grab my clothes for the day, throwing Nicole's onto the bed for her football game. I mean soccer game. My dad is full blooded Irish, while my mum is from New York. They met in the foreign exchange program and got married in Britain, after three years of serious dating. I lived in Ireland when I was younger, for four years, but I don't remember much of it. I do know there was a boy who played football with me from stories my mum tells me, and that my grandparents loved that I played piano. To this day they continue to ship my dad money for lessons three months at a time. But this trip isn't for me. Nicole has a football tournament, but I'm staying at the hotel to work on my college audition. I do have to be up at the same time as the rest of the family because we all are going to eat breakfast together. After pulling on skinny jeans and a semi nice tank with TOMS. I sigh to myself and step out of the room grabbing my phone and wallet from the table.
