Chapter 25: The End

Anne POV

I step into the bus and grumble as my skin stings.

"I can't believe you still got burned!" Niall says and reaches to touch me but I flinch away. "Sorry, but still! How is that possible!" he asks and I sigh as I pull my hair out and exaggerate it.

"Wow I don't know maybe the fact I'm a ginger!" I say and he laughs to himself. I sigh and reach for the chamomile lotion. Sitting down, I pull my hair off my neck and twist it into a bun. I squirt a bit into my hands and softly massage it into my arms. I feel Louis behind me and he takes the lotion and works it into my back. I let out a soft moan at his soft careful hands and the entirety of the bus turns to look at me. I blush and Louis laughs softly against my hair. His hands are so soft and careful with my burnt skin, and the cool lotion feels wonderful on my back. He continues to work the lotion into my back and I remind myself to thank him for this later. I sigh and Louis kisses my shoulder.

"I'm going to get a shower." I say and stand up. He nods and squeezes my calf as I stand up. Grabbing my phone and a towel I slip into the bathroom and slowly and carelessly rinse off the chlorine and pool water. I start to sing softly to myself out of habit.

I promised one day that I'd bring you back a star
I caught one and it burned a hole in my hand
Seems like these days I watch you from afar
just trying to make you understand
I keep my eyes wide open yeah

I hear the door open and jump grabbing my towel and turning the water off pulling it around me. I turn and see Lottie blushing.

"Sorry! The last bus had an actual curtain! I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" She blurts and jumps from the room. I groan hit my head on the side of the shower. Tossing my towel back onto the rod, I turn the water back on and rinse out the rest of my conditioner before quickly wrapping myself up. I open the door slowly and hold my arms to my side before grabbing my bag from Louis bunk and slipping into the bathroom again. Pulling on a pair of soft cotton shorts, and a jumper, I emerge from the bathroom. Standing in front of the mirror I take off my makeup and pull my hair into a messy bun. Louis chuckles as he watches me. Lounging on the couch with only sweat pants on, isn't making it easy for me to say no to wanting to curl up next to him and join him in the movie the boys have put on. I lower the zipper on my jumper a small bit before sliding onto the couch next to Lou. He kisses my bun, before lowering a blanket over me. I smile softly and my eyes slowly slip shut, as I realize how tired I am. Before long I feel myself getting jostled and I open an eye slowly, to see Louis putting me in his bunk. I rub my face into the pillow and quickly the pillow is replaced with Louis' body. I feel a kiss on my hair, and the tie getting softly tugged from it. Fingers are pulled through it carefully and the calming touch sends me back to sleep.

The next morning I wake due to a loud crash. Jolting up I hit my head on the bunk top and curse loudly. "Shit!" I snap. I push the curtain back to see Harry and Louis on the floor wrestling while Niall laughs at them.

"It's a donut you two!" He says. I look across the aisle and Lottie pokes her head out of the bunk slowly.

"God dammit Louis. You woke me up for this." She grumbles and Louis laughs as Harry tickles him. I sigh and jump from the bunk tugging my sleeves down. Pulling my mug from the cabinet I start the Keurig and let a hot chocolate start before sitting next to Niall.

"Which donut are they fighting over?" I whisper and he points to the filled stick. I reach forward and grab it and start to nibble on it. Niall can't stop himself from laughing at me and I start laughing too. Both boys look up and gasp when they see a quarter of the donut already gone.
