Chapter 3: Comfortable

Anne's POV

The alarm rings loudly in mine and Elisa's room.  I push myself up and check the time.  6:20 AM.  I grumble shut it up and when Elisa rolls over I speak up. "Don't worry babe, go back to sleep." I say and she mumbles something and then goes quiet.  I step out of bed and go to the bathroom.  The mirror show messy hair but nothing too unexpected.  I'm happy.  I pulled last night off.  Maybe I can start back into the crowd again. If I can party with One Direction and 5 Seconds of Summer, then I can handle a High School party.  I pull out a hair tie and pull my hair back before stepping into the shower and rinsing my body off.  Running my hands over my face I sigh softly.  I'm so tired.  Stepping out of the shower I grab my purse from off the toilet and pull out my perfume and hair brush.  I run out and grab my outfit for today.  A pencil skirt and a deep blue satin top with a blazer and pair of black heels.  Brushing my hair out I let that sit, and focus on makeup.  Nothing too flashy, but I need to look like an adult.  Nude eye shadow, dark brown crease make up and light cream brow bone color. Drawing a thin line for liner, I apply enough mascara to look like I'm wearing falsies.  Brushing my teeth I pull on my shoes and then apply a small amount of lip gloss.  I run down stairs to get a cup of coffee.  The line is already too long.  It's only 7 o'clock come on people! I grumble and check my phone.

  "Hello beautiful," someone says.  I tense then turn and see Louis Tomlinson.  I breath slowly.

"Hey," I say and he looks me up and down.

"You look beautiful." He says softly.  I blush, he smirks.  "So love good luck for today. What time is your audition?" He asks.

"Noon.  I have to be there at 9 though to work with Nathan, then to warm up.  I'm so scared." I say softly.  Someone behind Louis coughs softly, and I move forward in line finally hitting the coffee line.  I grab a small cup of black coffee with a spoon of sugar, and then another of hot chocolate with three sugars, and a dash of cinnamon. Louis chuckles, then grabs his drink.  Starting back towards the elevators he speaks again.

"You'll be fine love.  You play beautifully, and if they don't accept you then you are insane.  Just relax a bit." He says and hits the call button.  Pulling his jumper around his face he hunches himself over a bit as a group of girls exit, then slides in and closes the door quickly.

"I know I should be relaxed, but there are thousands of others that can play even better than me.  Just I need the cash." I say and take a sip of coffee.  He smiles at me.

"Love you're perfect." He says and takes my hot chocolate from me winking. "I've got this." He says and follows me to my room.  I hold open the door and he sets the drink down.  He looks at me when he turns around.  He looks me up and down then settles on my face.  I feel myself blush.  He pulls me close and hugs me."Don't panic.  You'll be fine." He says softly.  He hugs me tightly then leaves the room without another word.  I stand there for a moment then groan.  I pull my phone and then step into the bathroom grabbing my curling iron and turning it on.  I pull one hand through my hair then turn on Into the Woods turning it quiet.  I curl my hair quickly letting loose curls fall to my waist and then grab my purse and my music.  I check to make sure my sheets are in the folder, and once confirmed, I leave the room writing Elisa a note as to where I am so she doesn't freak out.  I text my mom and she tells me the door will be open to the room.  I take the stairs and enter the room.  My mom looks at me from the bathroom, where she is doing her make up and hair.

  "Oh baby, you look so good." She says and sighs.  "I'm sorry we can't be there, I really am." I shrug.

"It's fine.  You know I freak out when I have too big of an audience." I say fingering the edge of my skirt. I sigh and sit down on a bench looking into the bathroom.
