Chapter 8: On The Road Again

Anne POV

"Good job Band! Graduates the party starts at 1 o'clock. Bentley has directions if any of you need them." Mrs. Danlow shouts. We all cheer and laugh. Elisa walks up to me and is smiling. Being a field commander, and me a guitar player, we march at different parts of the band. She pulls off her gloves and twirls her baton between her fingers giddy.

"So you feeling excited? Tomorrow you are leaving to go to join One Direction on Tour!" She says and I shrug.

"I don't know what to feel. I'm excited, but so nervous. What if they don't like living together?" I ask and she shrugs.

"They adore you please." She says and I sigh. She's not wrong.

"Hey Elisa!" one of the underclassman call. I let her go and pack up my guitar, and help truck crew load up the rest of the equipment. The seniors jump off early and the band president screams out,

"What team?"

"Wildcats!"

They continue the mantra as a tradition and when the cheering calms down she speaks.

"Today was our last day with you wonderful people." The band cheers at this and she holds up a hand. "Yes I know we are amazing. But since we are leaving now, I decree that we pass the right of Wildcat Chant to Tyler Powell!" The entire band cheers and lifts Tyler for a mere two seconds until Mrs. Danlow tells us to let him down.

"Quickly on the busses we have stuff we need to get done!" she shouts and pulls the truck closed before sliding into the driver's seat. We all pile onto our busses and Elisa sits next to me sliding off her gloves. She smiles and turns to me.

"So, today is our last day." She says and I nod letting it hit me. After this I won't see her again until college, and we don't even know if we are roomate's.

"I'm going to miss you." I say and she hugs me.

"Don't die on me. I need you around sweetheart." She says and I laugh.

"I won't if you don't." She laughs.

"Deal?"

"Deal." She smiles and pulls out her phone from her bra. Wiping the sweat on her pants she opens her phone and checks some things.

"Hey we have about two hours before we have to be the Danlow's. Do you want to get lunch together? I have some clothes in my car I can wear to their party." She says suddenly. I look up from scrolling through Instagram and check the time.

"Sure why not." I say and she smiles.

"Thanks!" She says and I shake my head while going back to my phone.

Louis POV

The boys and I sit in a hotel room we rented for the weekend and wait for Zayn to show up. We haven't been able to get ahold of him for a while, but we know he is with Perrie. I grumble something under my breath as I play Niall in FIFA and he shoves at me with his shoulder. Hearing the door creak open, I glance over my shoulder for a second, then pause the game. Zayn drops his bag and pulls his hood down.

"Hey lads. What you been doing?" he asks. I twirl on the table we are using as a seat, and smile like a child.

"Getting ready for Anne to come with us on tour." Harry states and Zayn looks at me for a moment.
