BRIONNA P.O.V. (The next few chapters are about her.)

This yo room! My grandmother said annoyed showing me to the upstairs bedroom. This the same room I stay in any other time I was here.

Still the same! I said sarcastically.

Don't get smart, hurry up and unpack and come down for dinner not that you need it...

You gonna make a comment about my weight every time?

I'm just saying your heavy and you need to lose weight. Just cause your mother let you eat anything over there don't mean you gone be eating everything over here. She dead and gone so new house new rules get use to it. She said smartly than walking away.

Today November 2nd was the worst day of my life. This morning I watched my mama die, got token from my brothers and sister and now I'm forced to move with my grandmother, dad, his girlfriend, her two kids, my grandmother foster daughter and my two older brothers. I closed my bedroom door and sat on my bed I was only 11 years old and this was the worst day of my life once again!

My door opened and I smiled hard. My big brother Trey stood there smiling. Trey was 15 and Quan was 17. My brothers was heavy into the streets and my grandmother hated that and them. My dad was never around and they mom wasn't in their lives. She didn't care what they did nobody did. My grandmother treated us like shit and my dads girlfriend kids and her foster daughter as if they was gods gift to the world.

I got up and hugged my brother tight! "Sorry bout your mom baby girl!" Trey sang holding me tight.

Yeah sorry bout mommy you know she loved you! And she still with you! Aunty was the best! Quan said joining in the hug.

Don't cry toughen the fuck up! Trey laughed wiping my tears.

Y'all gotta come and eat! Taniya said coming upstairs.

Ain't nobody eating that nasty ass food. Quan said sucking his teeth and waving her off. Taniya was one of my dads girlfriend kids, her and Myla. My brothers didn't fuck with them either.

We bouta go outside you coming? Trey asked walking down the stairs.

I guess! What's the move?

You'll see finally hanging with the big dogs. He laughed.

Whatever I'm the big dawg. I followed my brothers outside and we couldn't help but joke and laugh. We made our way down the street to the park. Quan was rolling up on the way to the park. We met up with they three friends Rock, Terrance, and Nyree. They all embraced me in a hug. They was all like my big brothers too.

Terrance passed around cups and poured shots of Henny. "Let me get a cup!" I said as I took the blunt from Quan mouth. I sparked it up and everybody just looked at me. "You muthafuckas started smoking and drinking way younger than me duhh!" I yelled taking a puff of the blunt.

Shit I mean you right! You only cause of what today is... Trey said pouring me a shot. I took another puff and passed the blunt. I smoke weed when I'm around my older brother that's it but now this was about to become an all the time thing.
