Since this story is an AU AND contains FFXIV x Nier Automata elements, there are some things you need to pay attention to:
- The androids are bio-androids, capable of reproducing but their bodies didn't have the necessary parts since they didn't feel the need to or they thought it's going to be a hinder to their mission unless they requested to have them from the beginning to copy humanity. They can be added later on when an upgrade is needed. (I feel like I have to point this out since some will probably be asking it if I didn't.)
- They also have artificial souls, which is very similar to human souls despite the androids themselves said that they have no souls. This is another concept from FFXIV x Nier collaboration where the player character's ability to understand any spoken language by 'reading' their souls work on the androids. This ability was shown in the game that it DOESN'T work on intelligent lifeforms unless they have souls.
- The machine lifeforms also have souls, thus why the player character in FFXIV CAN enter the machine network, hacking, being hacked, and confronting The Red Girl there.
- Bio-androids, while they can have intercourse with each other, they can't be impregnated, no matter what they do unless an actual human does the deed.
- Timeline. This is set 4 years before the canon starts.
- Naruto can stop the Logic Virus, delete it and restore the corrupted androids to normal. He can also get corrupted by the Virus if he lose against it.
With all that said, let's move on to the story! A complete rewrite starting from Pearl Harbor Descent Operation meaning A2 or No. 2's first ever mission!
[December, 8th, 11.941]
A group of 16 sleek flight units descended toward Earth.
"Is that the ocean?" A voice crackled through the comms, the awe in her tone cleary heard. No. 2, seated in her flight unit, couldn't help but admire the view. A smile tugged at her lips, the first she'd managed since the mission began. "It's so beautiful..." she murmured as their formation sliced into the stratosphere, the Earth's glow reflecting off their machines.
This was No. 2, an Attacker-Type YoRHa unit specially designed for combat missions. Her short silver hair framed a delicate yet stern face, its strands swaying slightly in the airflow from her flight unit's movements. Her visor, a standard feature of YoRHa soldiers, concealed her eyes, adding to her enigmatic presence. She wore a form-fitting black combat uniform with intricate patterns, designed for both flexibility and protection in battle.
