Episode 19: Well, Wonderland (PART 1)

Rushing deep into the woods, Yeosang's breath was hitched as the night slowly consumed the sky. He held the Map of Labyrinth of Chaos tight to his chest, looking around to ensure no one was following him.

The Map of the Labyrinth of Chaos was...well, just that.

There was a tiny small problem about getting INTO Wonderland...

Thanks to his grandmother, who was on a rampage because she was mad at Wonderland, made it nearly impossible to enter Wonderland without a certain spell. A certain spell that requires Wonderland blood to open the well that leads to Wonderland.

He did not have Wonderlander blood...but he did have Han Jisung's hair strands. Maybe that would work.

Yeosang had been holding onto the prince with the utmost care, cradling his head and adjusting the pillows to ensure his comfort, afraid to disturb his peaceful slumber. The prince's breaths were slow and steady, lulling Yeosang into a sense of security, but as Jongho fell deeper into sleep, Yeosang's grip eventually loosened and he quietly slipped away from the room. Though he didn't inform anyone of his departure, Yeosang couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. He knew all too well the dangers that lurked in the shadows, the threats that lingered in every corner of the palace. The thought of being followed sent a shiver down his spine, his mind conjuring up images of teachers or trolls...same thing, but still. His senses were on high alert, every muscle tense and ready to react at any moment. He couldn't help but listen intently for any sounds that might indicate a possible threat, his ears straining for the slightest hint of danger. And then, just as he feared, he heard the unmistakable sound of footsteps approaching. His heart racing, Yeosang's mind raced with possibilities, as he tried to determine the best course of action. Whether it was friend or foe, Yeosang knew he had to be prepared for anything.

Yeosang, feeling cautious, called out into the darkness, "May I know who is present?" As he spoke, he conjured a flickering flame of violet hue, illuminating the surrounding area. "I implore you not to force me to use my magical abilities," he warned, his voice laced with a hint of apprehension.

"Calm your silly lil' head down, King Yeosang, no need for such fancy words!" A glowing crescent moon grin appeared out of nowhere before showing Minho's full body. "My madness, and I just want to help you. Wonderland is our homeland, anyways."

"What?" Yeosang took a step back, bumping into someone. He quickly turned around to find Jisung with his signature funky hat.

"Hello, Kingy!"

"Wha-, what are you guys doing here?" Yeosang asked, his stutter growing thicker with stress.

"As Lino said," Jisung smiled, walking around him as Minho transformed into a black and red striped cat, jumping onto the Mad Hatter's shoulder. "We are Wonderlanders! We are here to help you until the moon rises with the grin of fate!"

Yeosang only blinked, putting the pieces together and sighing. "Were you two the ones who placed the map on my desk?"

"Yes, indeed," Minho's grin grew sharper. "And I talked to your raven, too. She has a heck of an attitude. I love her."

"Monnie?"

"Yep!" Minho chuckled. "She has told me...about your goals."
