9. The daiyōkai demon Ryuunosuk Part 1

(Maya's Pov)
Days after I decide to join Inuyasha and his group. Lets just say things have been crazy. Kagome and Inuyasha have been fighting about Kagome going home to her world wherever that is? They all have been so kind to me since we departed from my village. Saying goodbye to my village and my people was the hardest thing for me but it had to be done...The only thing I haven't told them was the secret that I kept hidden from even myself these last few weeks.

How could I tell them without having them freak out? I had even lied to myself I could control it but deep down inside I knew it was a lie. Something heavy weighted on my shoulders pulling me away from my thoughts. I turned my head to find a little fox demon on me. He was eating some type of weird food Kagome had gave him. It kept spinning has he pressed the button on it.

"Kagome what is this weird invention Shippo is eating"

"Oh Maya that's a lollipop"

"Oh" is all I said. I didn't bother asking anymore questions.

Wherever, Kagome was from she wasn't from here that's for sure. Did that mean she didn't belong here? I felt a strong present coming our way, I quickly got into a fighting stance. A blue whirlwind was approaching are way fast. It had stopped right in front of Inuyasha and Kagome. The whirlwind disappeared and Koga appeared. I haven't seen him since the battle with Kageromaru and Juromaru; it was the first time I ever met a wolf demon.

I sensed something else in the air that didn't feel right. I heard Inuyasha and Koga begin to fight about something. But, I couldn't focus while they were fighting.

"Would you both shut up for five minutes" I yelled at them while both of them stared at me dumbfoundedly.

I set my hand on ground and closed my eyes.

"Maya what are you doing" Shippo asked.

"Shhh"

I felt every movement on the ground from miles away. The movement I was feeling for was coming towards us at an distance. If it is moving at this speed it's gotta have a shikon jewel in them.

"Kagome do you sense a jewel shard coming are way"

"No, Maya I don't sense anything"

How could this creature move at such a speed without a jewel shard? This demon coming towards us had to be very strong... I turned my head a bit to get a look at the others. They were all looking at me like I was crazy. I couldn't understand why Inuyasha or Koga didn't sense the demon like I did...

I got back on my feet and waited for the demon to show. Few minutes went by and still no demon...Maybe I am crazy after all. Kirara transformed and started hissing at the forest, everybody had been on their guard now! A gust of wind came at us knocking us all down at once. I jump to my feet and glanced around the forest that had been surrounding us. Inuyasha took out tessaiga and started yelling at the demon to come out.

A few trees moved from behind us, I quickly sent my rocks flying that way. But, the demon moved to fast from my attack. Sango sent her boomerang flying through the forest at every tree she heard movement from. How could we fight something if we could not see it? I put my hand to the ground and felt the closet movement to us. It had moved very fast their steps were quick as if they were gliding within the air?

"Inuyasha aim for the air" I yelled

"What why"

"Just do it"!

Inuyasha used his wind scar taking out at least a half dozen trees. But, beyond the trees stood a boy with scaly black wings looking at us with a smug look. His hair was black as night but his eyes were as red as blood. This boy had strong demonic power, he had to be daiyōkai my sworn enemy....

My blood boiled with anger as I looked at him. He must of sensed my anger because he stared back at me with that same smug look.

"What the hell are you looking at" I yelled at him.

I heard laughter coming from his way. Did he really just laugh at me?

I took out my blades and ran at him before anyone could stop me. I heard the others call my name, I zoned them out and just focused on him. I felt the wind wrap around me making my speed increase. I was gonna kill this daiyōkai one way or another. Suddenly I stop in my tracks I couldn't move. I had been paralysis but what could of done this?

"I Ryuunosuk, have made you paralysis from the waist down you peasant girl" he chuckle looking at me.

I didn't bother moving I mean after all what was the point...

(Inuyasha's Pov)
That stupid girl got herself trapped by yet another demon. This one definitely had a familiar scent to him; even though I couldn't place where I've smelled this scent before.

I've had enough of your games die already" I said running over to him with tessaiga in my hands.

He dodge my attack before I even seen it coming. Unbearable pain strike me right in the back making me yell out in pain. I turned around in time to see a pair of long claws try to strike me for second time. I dodge his attack just in the nit of time. I jumped out of the way to let Miroku and Sango take their turns on him.

I ran over to Maya and threw her over my shoulder, I jumped towards the forest. I sat Maya down near a tree while Shippo and Kagome appeared before me.

"Inuyasha, I don't know how long Sango and Miroku can hold him off he's to strong" Kagome said with concern in her voice.

"Right so stay here with Maya while I take out wing boy"

(3nd person's Pov)
As Inuyasha jumped away from Kagome, Shippo, and Maya he didn't realize she was still paralysis. Kagome ran over to Maya and began trying to help her become un-paralysis.

Meanwhile, Sango, Kirara, Miroku, and Inuyasha try to continue to find ways to defeat Ryuunosuk. But, none of the ways they came up with were working. Inuyasha has try to use the wind scar and the backlash wave on him but he just kept on dodging them.

"Inuyasha we must cut down one of his wings it's the only way for sure that he won't dodge are attacks" Miroku explained while catching his breath.

In the meantime Kagome had been trying everything to help Maya become un-paralysis but nothing seem to work.

"Kagome forget about me you must warn Inuyasha about what Ryuunosuk is and that he shouldn't underestimate him" Maya explained to her

"I don't understand Maya"

"Ryuunosuk is a daiyōkai"...

Inuyasha kept dodging each of his attacks but his wound was making him a bit slower than usual.

" I've had enough of you Iron reader soul stealer" Inuyasha yelled running at Ryuunosuk.

Ryuunosuk release black like shards things from his wings at Inuyasha and the rest of them. The black shards hit Inuyasha and went straight through him. Inuyasha collapsed straight to the ground while tessaiga went flying through the air. Minutes passed by and Inuyasha still hasn't got up.

Kagome came running out of the forest with Shippo on her back. The scene before her made her fall to the ground. Neither Inuyasha, Sango, Miroku, or Kirara were anywhere to be found...Not even the demon they all disappeared.

"Inuyashaaaaaaaa"Kagome screamed.
