13. The missing villager child and The Black Rose

-Two days later-

Of course, Maya's wounds were more serious than anybody expected. Physically she had been healing quite well but mentally she was fighting a battle within herself. A battle only she could win... Inuyasha had been so impatient for her to wake up he's been trying to find ways to wake her up himself. With Kagome being gone to her world it gave Inuyasha the opportunity to find ways to wake her up. Nara has been ordered to stay away from Kaede's hut until Maya awoke. Nara being the tiny human girl she didn't take it well. She began to follow Inuyasha around for the last four days asking him how Maya was. It began to annoy Inuyasha so he started to try to find ways to wake Maya up. So far nothing has worked for him.

Sometime later...

(Inuyasha's POV)

I finally distanced myself away from Maya's annoying little friend who hasn't left me alone since we came back to Kaede's village. I'm beginning to think Maya put some type of demon ninja attached spell on her or something. For the last few days, I felt something coming towards village so I decide to check it out myself. I rushed through the forest advancing farther and farther away from the village leaving my friends behind to take care Maya until I get back. The more I ran from the village the more I feared for Kagome's and Maya's safety.

Was leaving them there to find something really worth it ? What if I don't find what I'm looking for? Maybe this something that was coming to the village was friendly? But, I couldn't take that risk I have to know what I'm up against! It's been hours since I left the village not knowing what's going on there is killing me but I need to find this demon and dispose of it before it gets there. Something tells me it's not going to be a fair fight...

Hiding in the shadows watching Inuyasha was no other than Kanna one of Naraku's incarnations. Kanna watched Inuyasha showing Naraku what she saw through her mirror. Naraku wonders what Inuyasha was looking for and what could so important to him to leave the village unprotected. Hiding not far behind a tree had been Nara she had followed Inuyasha yet again but this time, she followed him out of the village. A place she is never supposed to leave...

Nara watched the girl watching Inuyasha, her eyes never left the girl's white hair. She thought how strange it was for a girl about her age to have white but then she thought about her own strange appearance. Nara remembered her odd eye color that made her different from the other kids. She remembered how the kids in the village would make fun of her for being different but then she met Maya and thought how different she was. Maya accepted her for her and that's why she cared so much for Maya, even though Maya's not human it didn't matter to. Nara knew in her heart that Maya wanted to be human no matter how many times she said she was fine with what she is. Nara knew different...She was gonna find a way for Maya to be human no matter what it took.

Nara had been so deep in thought she didn't know that she too was being watched by another creature. He continued to watch the young girl as she watched his friends.

"Little girls like you shouldn't be playing in a forest by themselves" Ryuunosuk snickered at Nara.

Nara turned around fast and looked at the one-winged boy who was smiling at her. She was about to run but something grabbed her. She couldn't see what it was but she felt it around her. A strange green powder sprinkled down Nara's face and her eyes flutter shut putting her into a deep sleep.

"Let's get out Takeo we did what Naraku asked now let's go" Ryuunosuk ordered not turning around to the demon who slashed his wing over.

(Inuyasha's Pov)

I swore I smelled Nara's scent over here and now it's gone. That damn kid must have followed me out of the village but where'd she go? I lost tracked of time trying to find her it was now dark and I lost any trace of her. Damn! Kagome's gonna flip when she finds out. I smelled another scent mixed with hers but it couldn't wing boy could it? I knew this plan had Naraku written all over it but why take Nara? There's no way he could know Maya was close to Nara unless someone from the village had been his spy? I went back to the village and seen all the villagers with torches leaving the village to go search for the kid.

"Inuyasha have ye seen Nara she has disappeared on her mother," Kaede asked me with a worry expression on her face.

I told Kaede everything that I knew about her disappearance. We searched all night and found nothing but a ribbon of hers. Nara's mother asked me to do everything I can to find her daughter I told I would for Maya's sake. I laid against the tree trunk after I searched the forest again still nothing. I closed my eyes for what felt for like a few minutes. I heard screaming coming from a distance I shot straight up on my feet, the scream belongs to Kagome and I knew that. I broke out into a run toward the screaming and there I saw a black dragon with huge red wings it was breathing fire at Kagome and Shippo.

"Hey, you big ugly fire breathing pig, pick on someone your own size," I said yelling jumping up and punching it.

Of course, it didn't much with me being the size I was and it being the size it was. The dragon swung its tail at me I went flying to the other side of the forest. I took out Tessaiga and ran at the dragon only, this time, it didn't attack me it flew away.

"Hey, where the hell do you think you're going you can't the fly away like that" I yelled running after it.

The dragon turned its head for a split-second before crashing into a bunch of trees. I ran deeper and deeper into the forest to find a girl that was once a dragon now laid unconscious in the grass. Her long blonde hair with pink tips had leaves and tree branches in it. This girl didn't look very fearful but what I just saw could tell me otherwise.

-Hours later-

The young girl laid awake and alerted to her surroundings. She looked very scared and worried about something or someone.

"Why did you attack my friend," Inuyasha asked .

"I'm sorry I mean you know harm I have no control over my dragon side," the girl told them.

"How can you not have control over your demon side," Shippo asked.

"I'm only half-demon you see and I have no control over that side of my body" she stated ignoring the unpleasant stares she had been getting from around the room.

"You're a half-demon," Inuyasha asked sounding very surprised.

"Yes, I am"

The group was stunned none them knew what to say.

"What is ye name child"

"They call me the Black Rose and I have message for you from Naraku"......

Hii everybody I'm back so sorry for the long wait but I'm back now haha. Anyways, a new character (From reader) don't worry there will be a whole back story for her. I'm still looking for one more new character so message me if or comment below - P.M
