Kagome wiped the girl's head with a piece of cloth that she got from Kaede earlier; the girl had a fever. It was as if she had been on fire, that's how high her fever had been.

"Lady Kaede we need you out there" the villager said to her.

Kaede got up grabbing her bow and quiver full of arrows, leaving Kagome and Shippo to keep an eye on the girl. Kagome kept wiping the girl's forehead as sweat kept pouring down her face. They had gave the girl the medicine Kagome brought from home. She gave it to her as soon as everyone left to deal with the demons. Though, the medicine mustn't  been working because she still remained unconscious and had a high fever. Kagome worried about the others how their progress had been going putting a stop to the demons.

Meanwhile; Inuyasha, Miroku, Sango, and Kirara were fighting the demons off but it didn't seem like it did much because they were still coming. Even after using the wind scar killing at least a hundred demons in one swing, still didn't seem to faze them. Inuyasha felt this weird sensation coming from inside him, but he didn't have any idea what it was. It had been like something was trying to emerge from him the whole entire time they were fighting the demons.

"Inuyasha no matter what we do to them they keep coming we got to find the source from where their coming from" Miroku yelled. Inuyasha nodded his head understanding what Miroku meant by finding the source to the demons.

After a while Kagome couldn't help but to feel useless just sitting here babysitting and not fighting with Inuyasha.

"Shippo come on she's not waking up anytime soon we got to help Inuyasha and the others" Kagome explained to him

"I don't know Kagome; Inuyasha made it pretty clear he didn't want us out there".

"Shippo are friends are out there either dying or struggling to win against these demons we got to help them"

Shippo looked at Kagome and said "okay". Both Kagome and Shippo ran out the hut door leaving the human girl alone by herself.

"Kagome is ye girl alright" Kaede yelled walking in but finding nobody there but the unconscious girl on the floor. Kaede wiped the sweat off the girl's head and walk over to the fire only to poke at it once more.

(Mysterious person's Pov)

I felt the blood in my veins pumping my heart had been beating rapidly. The burning feeling went away I felt my fingers move slightly. The pain elapsed away slowly, but I felt my body more now. Though, my demon side is acting very weird I'll have to continue to fight it off.

The demon snake hit Inuyasha's arm with its tail making Inuyasha go flying on the other side of the forest a few feet away. It was the same snake before but this one had been stronger.

"If only Kagome were here to tell us how many jewel shards the snake has in him, but somebody told her to stay in the hut for protection" Koga yelled to Inuyasha who was still on the ground.

"Listen you mangy wolf nobody ask you to be here you were just in the wrong place at the wrong time"! Inuyasha yelled to Koga

"Talk about right place and the right time mutt face" Koga said grinning holding his head up high.

"Why you-" Inuyasha barked at Koga.

"Hey Inuyasha I made it" she says walking through the trees.

"Kagome what are you doing here I told you to stay in the hut with Kaede and Shippo to watch the girl"

"I couldn't be useless Inuyasha I need to stand by my friends in battle and care to them when they are wounded plus Shippo is with me". Shippo peered over Kagome's shoulders exposing his red hair and green eyes.
