(Inuyasha's Pov)

The next couple days of are journey appear to be nothing but a blur. After are encountered with Naraku, it seems like he's remaining hidden from us. I mean Maya really did get him good but it wasn't good enough. There has been no sign of him since then.

"It's so peaceful" Shippo announced to us.

"I'll say it seems are battles are nothing but a bad dream" Kagome added with a smile on her face.

I continue to walk ahead while the others rambled on about our battles. My head just kept spinning with questions of why and how Maya was able to hurt Naraku the way she had. Maya was so fast compare to Naraku and to think he would have been faster than her because of shikon jewel. She even seem faster than Sesshomaru. I snapped out of my thoughts to hear a familiar voice ring to my ears. I stopped and turned towards the others.

"I sense a sacred jewel shard and it's coming fast towards us" Kagome yelled to me.

A tornado of blue started coming are way I drew tessaiga and got in a fighting stance. Down a little hill from us stood that mangy wolf Koga.

"Yo, Kagome I caught your scent , and came to see you" Koga chanted making his way to Kagome.

I put tessaiga back in the sheath and stepped between Kagome and Koga.

"What do you want, wolf cub" I asked him keeping my cool.

"Inuyasha, don't go picking a fight" Kagome said grabbing my arm.

"Shut up...depending on the way it goes I"ll kill him" I barked at her.

"Ha ha! You haven't changed a bit, mutt you think you could lose the arrogant".

I felt my anger rage inside me at him, if he says one more thing I'm gonna kill him.

"Kagome, don't you get tired with a guy like him"?

"Why you.." I felt my blood spoil I took tessaiga out and launched at wolf boy but missed him by a few feet.

"Seems like you can't wield that sword of yours mutt"

"I can wield my sword just fine if you didn't have jewel shards in bent in your legs you wouldn't be a problem" I lifted tessaiga over my head again and ran at him with full force.

"Inuyasha sit boy" Kagome yelled making me face plam the ground.

(3nd person's Pov)

Tell me where Naraku's castle is" Koga demand.

"You idiot don't you think if we knew where he is that he still be alive" Inuyasha said annoyed.

One of Koga's comrades spoke up this time "So you don't then"?

"Naraku has a barrier around his castle, so even if I did know where he was you couldn't break it" Inuyasha stated with an attitude.

Koga smirked at Inuyasha only making him more mad then he already he was.

Inuyasha gripped tessaiga handle, unsheathing it and jump into the air aiming towards Koga.

"How about you let us avenge your comrades deaths... and hand over those jewel fragments you have in bent in your legs...and just go back to your wolf den" Inuyasha yelled at him.

Inuyasha hit the ground with tessaiga only to miss Koga by a mere few inches, he struggle to pick tessaiga up over his head.

"What's the matter, muttface swinging your sword awfully clumsy there" Koga sneered at him.
