Recap:
“He’s not worth it.” I said in explanation
And yet as I was saying it I felt my elbow connecting quite forcefully with Malfoy’s nose; and with a crunch.
And then I added in a good stomp on his foot; the first was for Harry and the others, that was for touching me.

“I said I’m sorry.” I said to Malfoy, standing next to where he was sitting at the Slytherin table holding his ‘precious’ nose. “Oh wait,” I feigned shock with a finger curled against my lower lip, “I didn’t.”
The brightest smile lip up on my face and I sat down at a part of the table that was as far away from Malfoy as I could get.
You know how some people find fighting or boxing a huge stress reliever? I was never sure about that strategy until now cause the second I pulled my elbow away from Malfoy’s face the tie between us loosened considerably.
I spent most of my breakfast nibbling on warm, flaky biscuits and glancing over at Harry. Like yesterday, I couldn’t help but constantly send him reassuring smiles; although I was the one that needed them.
He didn’t notice me at first though. It looked like he was telling Ron and Hermione something quite exciting; and then they looked over at Malfoy simultaneously.
I chuckled and smiled to myself, proud of my handiwork. No doubt they liked it too when they started laughing.
Malfoy was still sitting in the same position completely oblivious.
And to make it even better the regular morning owls came swooping through the hall, one dropping an envelope right above Malfoy’s head as he was removing his hand.
For something so lite weight it was definitely enough to send Malfoy cursing and holding onto his nose again.
“Here you go Draco.” One of his goonies said, picking the envelope out of the porridge it had slipped off his nose into.
The other snatched it from his hands and use a napkin to wipe the food off, smearing ‘Draco’ on the top and seeping through the envelope.
“You want me to read it for ya?” He asked trying to open the envelope. The wetness of it tore it from corner to corner.
“You idiots!” He yelled at them and snatched the letter from ‘Crabbe’. “I swear, you two can be quite the disgrace to purebloods.” He spat.
He took out his wand and mumbled something. The envelope immediately pieced itself back together, no oatmeal smear and stains. He picked it off the table before anyone else could move a hand and stuffed it into his robes.
Malfoy and I had a couple of classes together, but not all. So, McGonagall decided that until we can go to our own classes by ourselves, I would have to attend one of his classes one period and he’d come to mine the next. Then the next day it would reverse, he’d attend mine and then I’d attend his.
And once this is over we have to collect quite the stack of notes and homework for each class we missed.
Now I was stuck in one of his classes, something about divination…I feel like I’ve walked into an oversized palm reading shop.
At least Malfoy’s seat was far back enough that I could go hide myself in the corner of the room and take a nap.

“You are a very beautiful witch, Ms. Susannah.” He told her.
He trailed his pale finger around her chin and up her cheek.
