Recap:

“Well then we better we better get a proper living space for them, yes?” Lucian inquired, sounding quite calm and collected.

I know it should be better than scary, mad Lucian, but there was something eerie about it.

“Living space?” I whispred, feeling quite horrified.

*Present Day*

I walked into the Great Hall ahead of Malfoy and headed to the Gryffindor table.

I hoped that with a lead I might be able to take the advantage this time.

I caught Harry and Hermione watching me for me from their seats already taken around the table.

Their faces were just as hopeful as mine as I got closer and closer with every footstep. And then they looked behind me. I really didn’t like that look on Harry’s face.

I was only a few more yards away from them and my body froze.

I took a step back to relieve the pull and looked back at Malfoy.

He was standing as far from me as he could possibly manage, watching me quite defiantly as he moved a step back toward the Slytherin table.

“No.” I growled, placing my right foot firmly back on the ground toward the Gryffindor table.

“Oh, you don’t want to play this game.” Malfoy said with a smirk.

“What game? We had an agreement; and yesterday we sat at your table. Today is my table.” I reminded him sternly.

“This one.” Malfoy answered, but completely ignored the last part I said.

Malfoy just crossed his arms and leaned back like there was some invisible wall supporting him. But instead the invisible ties between us just grew stronger and tighter as I supported him.

He got too much fun, and showed off, from this situation.

And then I got the game…

He looked behind me and then back at me with a glint in his eyes.

“Stupid bloody Weasel.” He said maliciously.

My body slid a foot closer to him.

He looked behind me again, a little more to the right, and back.

He opened his mouth, surely to repeat the same process.

“Don’t you dare.” I warned him.

“Filthy. Little. Mudblood.” He stated much colder.

Our bodies were inches apart from one another, but the pull didn’t give. The ties were just as strong.

Damn him! Damn him! Damn him! Why the hell does he have to do this to me?

The way I look at it, I don’t want to make him pissed at me until this is over because I don’t want to become attached at the hip.

Go make a Siamese twin with someone else Malfoy! I raged inside.

Malfoy looked back one more time and his face visibly darkened quite fast.

“If you even think about it I will personally murder you.” I growled, clenching my fists to keep from biting his head off then.

“Dirty. Mongrel. Half-Breed.” He spat.

I threw my hands out in front of me before my rage could stitch us chest to chest.

It was a terrible struggle to keep my arms from collapsing in.

Knowing my nails were clawing there were through Malfoy’s skin while my hands were pressed against his chest was worth it though.

Malfoy didn’t try to stop me though; he was too busy winning.

Immediately he swiftly took large steps backwards, pulling me with him.

“Speak of the mongrel.” Malfoy chuckled.

And then I chuckled when I dug my nails deeper with a pinch; he hissed in pain quite loudly at that.

“Leave her alone Malfoy!” Harry yelled.

He grabbed my arm from behind me and tried to pull me apart from him.

Unfortunately all that succeeded in was catching me quite off guard and slipping, slamming into Malfoy.

I tried to find some happiness so I could calm my nerves, and I managed to be thankful that I was twisted around before it happened. Now instead of cheek to cheek we were just back of head to cheek.

“Hey, I’m an innocent victim in this!” Malfoy yelled, throwing his hands in the air for defense.

I knew when he trailed his hand up my back to raise his hands he was just trying to ensure my anger.

“If you want to get in someone’s bloody business I suggest you bitch at her! She’s the one who couldn’t keep her damned eyes on the potion.” He stated.

Yeah…I think I forgot to mention that part when I was giving Harry and the others the update. It was more of a note though since it’s not exactly easy getting some free time with friends with Malfoy attached to you.

And now I kinda wish my face was stuck to Malfoy’s. At least that would cover up my face, I thought as my neck and ears grew warm. I directed my gaze towards the ground, biting my lip nervously, as if there was something interesting on my shoe.

“As I recall you got lazy and forced it on her, you prat! I know exactly whose ‘business’ to get into.” Harry’s voice sounded quite pissed.

I noticed Harry’s feet take a few steps closer and looked up. His face looked quite pissed too.

“Like I said, leave her alone.” He warned.

“And if you weren’t poor you might be able to afford a decent pair of glasses for once in your life.” Draco leaned his head forward, poking out beside my hand, and laid his hands on my waist nonchalantly.

Who the hell did he think he was!

“Cause it seems to me you’re having difficulty seeing the fact that I couldn’t even get away from her if I wanted.” He finished.

From the corner of my eye I could tell his smirk was curling up wider; taking in Harry’s face as victory.

Harry reached in his robes.

He pulled out his wand and went to raise it, but I put my hand up first.

I caught his eye and found myself shaking my head.

He just looked at me like I was crazy.

“He’s not worth it.” I said in explanation

And yet as I was saying it I felt my elbow connecting quite forcefully with Malfoy’s nose; and with a crunch.

And then I added in a good stomp on his foot; the first was for Harry and the others, that was for touching me.
