Recap:

He looked back at me, his eyes filled with lust and passion but they hesitated with the unasked question.

With everything in my body screaming this was right I just gave him a small nod and smile.

My eyes slowly creeped open, the feeling of warmth wrapped around my body slowly bringing me back to the world.

Looking down I noticed an arm snaked around my bare torso. Smiling I laid my arm over the source of the warmth intertwining my fingers with Harry’s.

Sighing contentedly I snuggled farther into his body that encased mine, his chest pressed to my back and face buried in my neck.

“Did you have sweet dreams?”

I jumped a bit not expecting him to be awake. He chuckled, moving his head out of the way from my little jump. Sweeping his fingers across my cheek he delicately pulled the hair splayed across my face and neck and swept it across my back.

Oh how my skin tingled under his touch.

Hair cleared he placed his head back down laying gently against part of my cheek and neck.

Wanting more I slowly turned myself in his arms so that we were face-to-face. Snaking my arms around him I pulled myself in as close as I could, burying my head deep against his chest.

“Well did you?” He asked softly, wrapping his arms back around me in response and pulling me even closer if that was possible.

Now that he mentioned it and stopping to think I did…well I didn’t dream, but that’s what was sweet.

With all the nights events I was so happy I couldn’t help but find all this pent up energy and excitement and by the time I did fall asleep I was so tired I think my brain just went on shut down and didn’t even allow me to dream. That I was grateful for.

A night without Voldermort in my head was a good night.

“Mhm.” I mumbled with a smile, leaning my head back to peck his lips in thanks. “Thanks to you. You’re my own personal dream catcher.” I beamed with a little giggle.

“Oh yeah, why’s that?”

Even if I had wanted to dream about Voldermort, if I had seen him that night I was afraid of how it would have played out. The dreams were always so real to the point that every detail went unmissed down to the very last thread of clothing I fell asleep in…what if I had woken in my dream standing before him in my birthday suit…oh the horrors.

“Just being in your arms makes me feel safe, like nothing in the world can ever bring me down. You make dreams something to look forward too.”

Harry rolled onto his back, bringing me over with him. I just laid my head back onto his chest listening to his heart beat. The rhythm was soothing and I felt myself starting to drift between awake and almost gone.

“Lynli…” Harry whispered, his voice dancing through my partially awake conscious.

He seemed like he was trying to say something but couldn’t get the words so I just turned my head to look up at him but said nothing, waiting for him to continue.

“Lynli I…I just want you that I don’t normally do this.” He rushed out in one breath, a blush rising to his cheeks in the process.

“You mean you don’t normally pick up women you haven’t even asked out yet?” I teased a little with a pretend gasp. I couldn’t help myself; the look on his flustered face was cute. “Oh I’m sorry, that’s just how the custom is back in America so I just assumed-“ I pretended to trail off with the suggestion of the words hanging in the air.
