It was another two hours before Lando had to be on the circuit for the first two free practices.

Except, Lando's mind was occupied with something, or someone, else. And he hoped, even though she had the closing shift yesterday, that she was at the same cafe again today.

"How can I help you?" The barista asked, she looked at the McLaren driver and Lando immediately noticed it was another fan. "Oh my god, can I please have a picture with you?!"

"Of course," Lando smiled and posed for the selfie. "Can I just have a coffee, please?" He tried his best to conceal his disappointment about the lack of presence of last night's closer. But he figured she might come a little later. And hopefully, before he had to leave for the track.

Lando regretted not asking for her phone number yesterday because he enjoyed last night, he enjoyed being treated like any other stranger looking for shelter.

Aurora whatsoever had a very stressful night. She never had company during closing time, and she didn't know if she had to tell her boss about it. Having company during the last hour was not allowed– for safety reasons.

She might be the longest employee of the store and offered the manager role multiple times; even carried out manager tasks when she had her shifts, the boss liked to be present in the café too, and he would have always had the last word. It wasn't until her phone chimed, that she saw that Caitlin had sent her a picture of her with... Lando Norris, Aurora started hurrying to get to the cafe, mind you, five hours before her shift was supposed to start.

Lando sat patiently tucked away in the corner of the cafe, hiding from any other fans that might take his attention from the door. He did not want to miss his chance of seeing Aurora walk through the door.

But Aurora took the back entry, the one only for employees.

"Hey Caitlin," Aurora greeted her colleague. Caitlin was her second best friend. They started as just colleagues but grew closer due to the time spent working together.

"You are here early," She greeted Aurora back. "Any specific reason?" Her eyes followed Aurora's gaze over the few guests sitting at the tables.
