It is getting late, and Lando knows this. But he also knows that he will lose his mind if he doesn't get answers soon. So, nearing 9 p.m., he arrives at the hotel. Aurora's parents are early eaters; they'll probably already be back from dinner.

So, Lando asks for the room number at the front desk, saying he's their son-in-law, and surprisingly, the front desk employee tells him where to be and almost gives him the room key.

"No, thank you," Lando declines the opportunity. "I am just here to greet them and welcome them in England. Is Aurora Banks in the same room?"

"Let me check," the man behind the desk replies, typing in the name. He shakes his head. Ah, no. She's in a separate room. Is that the girlfriend?"

"Fiancé," Lando corrects him, giving one of his friendly smiles. "Thank you for all the help." He turns around and walks to the elevator. He's actually surprised by how easily he got their room number and how easily the man at the front desk wanted to give him their room key.

What if he had been an abusive person? What if he had bad intentions?

At least he is happy that Aurora won't be in the same room. He feels like this was a conversation he has to hold without her presence. But in all ways, he wanted to know what was wrong.

His heart is beating fast, and he wishes he knew how to confront your in-laws when an accident has happened that severely injured their daughter, your girlfriend.

But he still knocks without fully knowing what his words will be, and then he waits for them to open the door. Maybe they expect to see their daughter and will open the door without looking through the peephole in the door.

Aurora's parents don't know who to expect when there is a knock on their door because they gave Aurora a key to their room. She doesn't need to knock. Still, they open the door, granting Lando's wish not to look through the peephole.

Aurora's dad wishes he had when he sees the British boy in front of the door; thinking about immediately shutting the door, he waits for Lando to open his mouth.

And he does, "I don't know what I did wrong," he begins. "And I deserve to know what I did to deserve such a bad treatment from you."

"You don't deserve to know anything," Theo crosses his arms in front of his chest, and Elise appears behind him. Her gaze is much softer, and it breaks through Lando's facade.

"Please," He begs. "You know I love her. You know I want to marry her!"

"Theo, let him in," Elise orders her husband, much to his dismissal. "He has the right to explain himself."

"Explain myself?" Lando repeats; he steps past Theo when the door is more open. "I am not here to explain myself. I am not hiding anything, and I am here because I am treated like I was the shitiest boyfriend."

"When you cheat on my daughter, you are not just a shitty boyfriend. You're a dead fucking man," Theo bitters through gritted teeth. "You should be happy you're not five feet down between 6 wooden planks."

His words hit hard. Lando did not remember a time he cheated on Aurora. He would never do such a thing, and being accused of it hurt.

"What?" He mutters out. "Cheated?"

"Take a deep breath, Theo," Elise says, faking the smile she gives her soon-to-be ex-son-in-law. "You don't have to deny it, Lando. Just come clean, leave our daughter alone, and we will all be fine."

Lando shakes his head, "But I did not cheat! I would never do such a hideous thing. I love Aurora; I asked her to marry me. Why would I, on God's green earth, cheat on her?"

Theo takes a step in Lando's direction, who automatically takes a step back. He is not a fighter, and he sure as hell isn't going to fight his father-in-law.

"As I said, just come clean. We have proof, Lando," Elise says, planting her hand on her husband's shoulder to calm him down.

"I am telling you the truth! I did not cheat on Aurora," Lando starts getting desperate. "Do I need to fucking spell it out for you? Show me the damn 'proof' you have." He raises his hand to create air quotes.

Lando knows there is no proof, not a solid one, at least. He knows he didn't cheat, and the real question is, who is setting him up? Who wants to make him out as a cheater?

Aurora's mother laughs, almost mockingly and Theo looks like he wants to kill Lando only more. Clearly is his denial not doing him anything good. Not when the elder couple have received multiple pictures over the course of the last few days.

"You want proof?" Elise says bitterly, she walks to her suitcase and pulls out the envelop. "Here is your damn proof."

Lando greedily takes the paper from the woman's hands, almost looking desperate. But he is, he is desperate to see the so called actions of him cheating. Nearly ripping the paper, he roughly takes the pictures out.

And they are of him with another woman at dinner. One of him with the same one walking through the London streets, another one on antoher day. One of them in which Lando whispers something in her ear and she laughs. The last one is made at the airport, Lando and the woman hugging.

"This is your damn proof?" Lando asks, almost furious. "I am cheating on Aurora with my sister?!"

Elise's and Theo's eyes widen as Lando's last statement made them realize they made a mistake.

"S... Sister?" Elise stutters.

"Sister!" Lando repeats. "The woman in the pictures is my sister, Flo. I hadn't seen her in months and she visited me in London... God, this is disgusting to even think about."

Elise believes him immediately, but Theo snickers mockingly, gaining both of their attention.

"You need to stop ruining my daughter's life."

"I didn't cheat on her! I didn't even cause the damn accident. What did I do?"

Lando is desperate, and Elise immediately shakes her head to her husband.

"Theo, don't. He doesn't need to know. They don't need to know."

"More secrets?!" Lando scoffed, anger getting the better hand this time. "You should know the hospital called. Should I let Aurora call them back to ask what it was about or are you going to tell me."

Elise hurries to stand next to her husband, "Fine," she nods. "You're right..."

"No!" Theo interrupts his wife. "You were right. They shouldn't have to know."

"Fine. Then I'll go to Aurora and ask her to call back the hospital. I am sure they will tell her what you don't want to tell us," Lando walks to the door, his hand is on the door knob when Elise stops him.

"She had a miscarraige."

The young Brit was taken aback, his confusion palpable, shock taken over when the words hit him. However, it was the woman behind the door who received the true jolt.
