Oᴜʀ Fɪʀsᴛ...

Lando Norris drove back to Stavelot after finishing all his duties at the Dutch Grand Prix in Zandvoort. He had made a promise to Aurora to meet her again, and quite honestly? She had not left his mind ever since he left Belgium a week prior.

Arriving at the little cafe, Lando quickly parked his car on the last free spot he saw, one opposite the cafe. Furthermore, the streets were utterly empty, and the stores were closed.

Lando entered and greeted the two girls inside the cafe, but only one stood out for him.

Aurora could not stop smiling when she saw the headlights of Lando's car; she didn't doubt him fulfilling his promise, but it was an incredibly nice feeling of him actually arriving.

"Hey," She smiled and nervously kept sitting in her place. "How was the drive?"

"Which of the two?" Lando asked, smirking.

"Both."

"I finished tenth and struggled a lot with the car, but I managed to get a point. And leaving Zandvoort was a disaster."

Aurora chuckled, "See, I told you it is a shit show."

"You're unbelievable," Lando chuckled along.

The only one silent, listening to the banter of the two, was Valerie. A small, bitter smile on her lips as she played with a strand of her hair before finally putting it behind her ear.

"I will leave you to it," she said and got off her seat. "Do we meet up tomorrow?"

Aurora wanted to nod, but Lando softly scrapped his throat, gaining the attention of both girls; Valerie looked just slightly annoyed, lips in a thin line, all while Aurora smiled and playfully raised both eyebrows with her head just slightly tilted.

"I wanted to ask if you wanted to spend the day with me tomorrow."

Aurora nodded enthusiastically, "I would love to."

The Brit smiled widely, and Aurora felt a slight flutter inside her stomach as she saw the goofy smile grow, and then turned to her friend,

"I am sorry, can we raincheck the girls' night?"

Valerie rolled her eyes just slightly but smiled at her best friend. Even though she rather wanted to spend the night with her friend, she could also see potential in her best friend getting close to a rich Formula One driver. The rich part, the most important part.
