chapter 3

[ PLANET CAMP ]

we sat together in a theatre like area and we watched the first episode. " oh its starting its starting " keita, who I got to know, said.

they showed how the show started and it was so cool what the heck. why did the first group get to see it, I should've been first.

anyway, it got to the part where I entered. my profile was shown on the screen, and people were shocked. zhanghao guessed it was me.

hearing them call me pretty and that I have a pretty smile brought blood to my face. "she's blushing she's blushing ! " haruto announced when he saw that I was blushing.

they also showed the part where zhanghao and I comforted each other. there were many funny moments as well, like the blue and red house. and the hot performance. GIRL I was wheezing.  it was too funny. I would pay just to see it again

then it was ranking time. I waited for my name to appear. the longer it took the more excited I got, but it also became more nerve-wracking.

"my heart is racing" zhanghao told me. zhanghao got 8th, and it's only left with the 1st and 2nd spot and my name hasn't appeared yet.

"jiaqi and sung hanbin?"

then my name appeared, second place. damn. ME . SECOND PLACE. DAMNNNN.

" okay you guys can take an hour break " one of the staff announced and everyone immediately got off of their seats. some decided to mingle with the others while some just went to find food and drinks.

well, I was going to find some food but got stopped by giants. literal giants, no they're not, but they're really tall and big. gyuvin and yujin, another two yuehua trainees.

Well, gyuvin was the taller one. Standing next to him makes me feel extremely short, though I swear I'm not. 5'7 is not short alright.

"jiaqi, what are you doing here," gyuvin asked, slinging an arm around yujin. I looked at him with the most '???' face ever. "no not here here, I mean here" he gestured around the place. right, of course. everyone's with a goal to debut. now I sound stupid.

"I wanted to grab some snacks, you guys want to come along?" I asked them, and they nodded quite aggressively. Guess they were hungry too.

I took a candy ( no I took a whole handful) , and so did the two of them. we talked about some stuff, and even gossiped about some celebrities stuff. of course those can't be aired. or else we'd be cancelled almost immediately.

then we were told the gather and they had t-shirts for our ranking and different groups.

they started explaining what the stage would be like, requirements blahblahblah. you get what I mean. ( if you don't, it's a sign to rewatch boys planet )

I was determined to beat K group, mostly out of my pride. looking at the four shining stars on the uniform I wore, I knew I had to keep it. 4 stars all the way, then I'll have a chance to debut.

then they announced that there was a killing part and boy did I want that part. so did everyone else. the competition is real.

I mean just take a look around, you can see the determination in everyone's eye. starting from scary looking park gunwook, to smiley seok matthew. they all want to killing part, and so do I.

"PLANET WORLD signal song is... < Here I am > "

WOAHHHHHHHHs filled the room. I don't know about them, but I have no idea what's that song. It's okay though, because they'll be playing it. little did I know that this song would be stuck in my head from now on. perhaps it was injected into my bloodstream.

"aren't you excited to hear what kind of song it'd be ?"

so none of them heard the song before, phew. here I thought I was missing out.

they suddenly said they'd only reveal the song to K group as they won earlier. that was definitely jaw-dropping information.  because bro... ???

"We should've won," Haruto said and I couldn't help but nod in agreement. " I'm sorry but G group should leave the room."

groans filled the room, and I added to the noise as well. was mentally cursing everyone, with the curse words I learned from my kdramas, but no one needed to know.

"that's so sad " zhang hao said grabbing my arm and leading me out the door. "for real, we must win the next challenge" I told him, im actually determined.

I'll win. 100%. Trust. why don't you trust me? Trust me. serious.

"jiaqi" I heard a staff call my name, I turned to them as they waved me over. I shook zhanghao hands and signalled to the staff as if saying I needed to go over. he pouted a little before letting go.

"yes?" I asked once in earshot distance with the staff. "we're going to interview you again, go into the room" they told me and I nodded.

" okay this is not part of the interview but, who are you comfortable with here?" a staff asked. I thought about it for awhile, "right now is the yuehua trainees, especially zhanghao" I said and the staff nodded.

"okay, how do you feel? about the not letting G group listen to the song " One asked .

"disappointed, but I'm determined to win the next round. "I said with a tight smile. the staff smiled at me and mouthed fighting as haruto came in for the interview as I was done with mine.

I went to the closed door almost immediately, putting my ear to it trying to hear as much as I could. before this, I would think my hearing abilities were good, but now I'm doubting it.

I really couldn't hear anything. like at all.

" you're going to move to your dorms now ! " a staff announced

I shared a room with seok matthew, zhanghao and takuto . thank god I'm with someone I knew or I would've been so so awkward.

zhanghao went to wash up so I was in the room with matthew and takuto. " let's just work hard for two weeks. let's work hard and we can do it!" matthew told takuto.

"yep! we must win K group " I said putting my fist in the air. "yeah!" matthew replied putting his fist in the air, then we both looked at takuto expectantly, but he just stared at us clueless.

how cute. "takuto, yea?" I asked, "yea!" he replied fist in the air too, and this brought out our giggles. since I have not bath, I lay on the ground. then matthew joined me. takuto saw and plopped onto the ground too making us smile.

"jiaqi, you were so cool today," matthew told me looking at the ceiling. "really? thank you. I really like your smile matthew hyung" I replied. I really did like his smile, its a smile that can make even the coldest person (batman) smile.

matthew chuckled, his award-winning smile showing itself again. "takuto, you were adorable" I said, takuto sat up looking like a lost bunny again.

"you were cute" I said and takuto smiled shyly and bowed ever so slightly before lying back down.  A while later, zhanghao came back and saw the 3 of us lying on the floor.

it wasn't a scary sight, but he jumped. actually jumped, I swore his soul left his body. "oh shi- what are you guys doing" he asked, he's so definitely cursing us in 5 different languages.

"go and wash up" he told us. yes boss. I grabbed my stuff and went to wash up and get ready for bed.
