chapter 4

[ ep. 02 : I am here ] pt 2

lights off. I saw zhanghao showing the camera his all-star uniform and took mine and showed it to the camera too. "we're going to protect and keep our all stars" he said sounding sleepier than ever.

"das right. fighting! " I said and waved to the camera. "goodnight" I said blowing a kiss and waving again. That was quite cringe. okay sleep and forget about it. yep.

[ PLANET CAMPs morning officially started ]

girl let me tell you, I slept past 5 alarms. thank the lord I had 10 prepared. let me tell you the benefits of being a girl. I get my own toilet, literally has my name outside it. fancy much.

so I'm going to keep this toilet, as in I'm going to keep using it until the end of the survival show ( where I debut ). so I'm not going to be eliminated. real. fax. when there's a will there's a way. das right.

anyway, I'm getting ready. I took a quick shower and right now I'm washing my face. anyone else hates it when the water drips down to your elbow when washing your face? because same. it's frustrating. 

okay done. change to my all-star uniform and the long pants they provided. then tied my hair into a high ponytail. yep ready.

[ it's the day to practice the Signal Song as a group ]

I looked beside me to see the K group practising. Girl we knew nothing, therefore had nothing to practice. plus this isn't even a song we knew so... so we just stared at them. envious? upset? jealous?

" I can't wait for lessons to start"  zhanghao stated jumping around. is he a morning person? because damn I do not even have the energy to dance yet. but like I said, when there's a will there's a way. das right.

they then gave each one of us a lyrics sheet. and played the song. the vocal masters were here to listen and help guide us.

" zhanghao hyung, how do you read this ?" I asked pointing at a word on the lyrics sheet. "ahh nan binna" he said then sang it out the way it is supposed to be sung.

"okay thankyou" I said then got to practice.  honestly, this song is good, i love it. ( well not for long, because little did I know this song... it's going to haunt me and the other 98 contestants. )

" anyone confident ? doesnt matter if youre in K or G group " vocal master asked. After the question was asked, suddenly the floor was so interesting. the ceiling was painted fabulously, basically everything other than their eyes were attracting our own eyes.

" do you want to try takuto?" vocal master asked.

"yes" he replied. then started singing, and oh dear... let's just say it wasn't the best. that doesn't mean there was no effort.

"woooo" I cheered along with the rest of G group clapping for takuto who worked hard. slowly people started raising questions for the vocal masters to answer, as well as singing for them to evaluate.

" the last showtime is the highest. anyone confident?" vocal master asked. beside me, zhanghao raised his hand. then he sang. DAMN, with a voice like that no wonder he's confident.

he then got compliments from the vocal masters, on his high pitch and pronunciation. then they told us to continue practicing during the break. they gave us a half an hour break before we proceed to the dance segment.

during the break, I got zhanghao to help me with the song. soon, I got familiarised with the song and could sing it without the lyrics sheet, well at least for the chorus I could.

the dance masters came in, and quickly started teaching the dance. After master baek finish teaching he told us to memorise it in 5 minutes.

girl, I can't even remember the first step. God help me. thankfully, I have zhanghao. he memorised the steps with ease and offered to help me.

After 5 minutes they did the choreography check by number of stars. three stars went first, most of the trainees learnt the dance and got the hang of it quickly.

then zero stars, then us. all stars.

dance . dance. dance.

[ Group G's all stars are perfectly in sync ]
[ Group K's all stars keep making mistakes ]

After harsh comments were made they continued the choreography check, and then told us to keep on practicing by ourselves and that they'll see us at the studio.

then everyone dispersed after the masters had left. I went yujin. "yujin ah" I called. he turned and looked at me, eyes alittle red after masters baek comments.

"aigoo" I mumbled and open my arms, wanting to give him a hug but not wanting to pressure him into hugging me. you know what I mean?

he walked into my embrace and hugged me, putting his neck on my shoulders. I rubbed the back of his head, "yujin ah, you can do it! don't give up alright" I told him.

he nodded, as we pulled away from the hug. I held his hands and gave him a quick squeeze and a smile which he returned.

just then gyuvin came and slapped yujins butt. "hi jiaqi" he called raising one hand and waving at me. I chuckled and waved back.

"jia qi ! " my name was shouted out, I didn't even have to turn around to know that it was ricky who called my name.

I waved goodbye to the two K group boys and went to find the blond boy. "okay what's the emergency?" I asked him as soon as I found him.

"huh? what? no you're just too short, thought you got lost so I called your name" he said shrugging it off like he just saved my life and its no big deal.

I stared at him. I swear if given the chance I would throw this guy into a pool filled with eggs. I'm joking. why would I do that? I'm literally so nice. believe me.
