chapter 25

( trainees to take a short break after the third mission )

they have given us a break, allowing us to go wherever we want to. we also have to film/vlog our journey.

"i want to perform the last stage, at least," I told the boys whom I'm currently with. they were lying on the beds and floor ( gyuvin ).

"let's not think about that right now" Gunwook said lying on the bed stretching his back. suddenly woongki came, "Guys there's a photo booth outside" Then before I knew it I was dragged out.

no one said it, but everyone knew that we were taking many pictures, many strips of photos in the photobooth just in case it was our last time here.

" We keep this love in a photograph,
we make these memories for ourselves "

" jiaqi take the picture with us !" Keita called waving me over and I ran over telling Woongki I'll take it with him after.

we took the pictures posing funny, cute, sexy and whatever. our laughters filled the photo booth, I really hope I can perform the last stage.

as traumatic as planet world might be, we all have our end goal which is to debut. while working towards our goal, we also found immense joy in performing for you guys, star creators, and hearing your cheers. knowing that we make you happy. that itself brings us happiness. brings the smile to our faces.

afterwards, I took pictures with many other trainees. All of us smiling, happy. I don't want the joy to end just yet.

" hi guys, they gave us a long break so I have to go back to school. " I said to the camera, beside me was Gunwook who laughed. "I have to study Korean." I sighed, Korean is not my first or second language, so it's difficult. 

" but for now I'm hanging out with park gunwook " I said showing Gunwook to the camera. "where are we going" I asked him knowing damn well where we were going, but it was for the viewers.

"We're going to karaoke !" he said then stood up "Let's goo" and then we went into the karaoke. the vibe was already set as soon as we stepped in.

I love the vibe. we ended up singing many songs and had the time of our life. gunwook is a great vocalist too if you guys don't know. he's an all-rounder!!

"How was the karaoke," I asked him after our 3-hour nonstop singing session. my voice was already raspy. "we're going to lose our voice, we were singing like someone broke our hearts." he said moving his hair away from his eye.

"That's right, mm now we're going to meet other trainees for dinner. Guess who" I said and covered the camera. then we made our way to Korean bbq place.

you could smell the BBQ from miles away. "I'm so hungry!!" gunwook said and I agreed. we entered the shop to see Junhyeon and Matthew already there.

"hello losers, how was your karaoke" Junhyeon asked. "it was really fun" I said setting my things down while Matthew started telling us a story also asking us to reenact it with him.

we ended up filming a fast-forward video of the BBQ meal. in the video, you could see us laughing so hard and a lot of big actions. it was a fun day alright.

"Tomorrow you have school right?" Matthew asked me serving me some meat. "thanks, and yeah I do I don't want to gooo" I whined.

"Imagine." junhyeon said slurping the noodles he had ordered. I side-eyed him and he gave his cheesiest smile. then went 'moi moi cutee' ... oh dear.

the next day I went to school, seungeon was a senior there. I didn't know, so, I was beyond shocked to see him there.

"what's this nonsense " I said when I saw him holding the camera like I am. "yah" he called and pointed at me.

"copy cat," he said, girl !?!??! copy what cat. come on man. "we'll perform the next stage" I said showing the camera me and seungeon and he nodded forming a fist with his hand.

" I'm going to meet some juniors, you want to come?" he asked and I said sure, so that's how I ended up beside Seungeon. we sat in a circle, and Seungeon held the camera.

it looked very awkward honestly but whatever. he's the one holding it not me. then one girl confessed that she became mc for seungeon and I gasped putting a hand to my mouth.

"yeah!" she said responding to my response and I chuckled. " who did y'all vote for," I asked. they all said the both of us, I think they were lying. "yall voted sung hanbin hyung right..." I said and they all laughed.

bingo. I laughed because I also voted for Sung Hanbin Hyung. I actually voted for different trainees every day. like this morning I voted for myself. 😛

that day was really interesting as I got to know more about Seungeons juniors and friends, as well as more about Seungeon whom I've known for three years already -- YUEHUA TRAINEES !!

oh also I'm eating dinner with Keita tonight, we're having Japanese food. he said the store he found tasted quite authentic so he's going to bring me to try! So I'm excited.

I have Korean language tuition later first, so I'm not really excited about that. I'm just going to go and get it done and over with. my Korean will be better than Ricky's!

I couldn't get a flight back home to Chengdu, China so I've been staying in Korea for the past few days. I've been video-calling my family every night too. I also spend lots of time with my friends ( other trainees ).

oh since I cannot go home, I've been staying with Gyuvin. he has a dog, and it's the cutest thing ever.

today eumppappa chose me over Gyuvin and it was the best day of my life, gyuvin has been sulking about saying that I bribed the dog. the truth hurts bae.

anyway, we'll have to go back to planet camp soon, and once we return it'll be the elimination round. I'm scared.

" let's go to hanbin hyung tomorrow," Gyuvin said laying his head on my stomach. "and where's that?" I asked. "he's a dance teacher" he stated, yea no shit Sherlock. That much I know too.

anyway, the next day we went to his studio, I think he was shocked to see us. I mean usually when someone's face is like this emoji " 😯 " they're usually shocked...

"oh my god, is that Jiaqi and Gyuvin?" some students asked and Hanbin nodded asking them to continue. he then invited us to sit beside him and help evaluate the dancers.

so that's what we did, gyuvin got bored though. so during lunchtime, we went for lunch then decided to go ice skating instead of going back to the studio with sung Hanbin.

tomorrow we're going back to planet world so we need to make full use of the time we have left.

▪︎ as much fun as I seemed to have, most of my time, in fact, most of the trainees time were spent practising. practising our singing, dancing, facial expressions, stage presence everything. As I said we all want to debut, we're desperate.
