Plot: During a bad storm, Foolish and Tina build Dream a fort and they lay in it together until the storm dies out and Puffy gets home.

Dream hates storms.

He hates them because they're loud and bright and violent and they're everything he used to be.

And maybe also because he embarrasses himself constantly trying to growl at the thunder while at Technos house but that's unimportant..

Maybe he hates them a little less right now though. Possibly because he's too scared to feel hatred but mostly because Tina and Foolish are here.

Puffy asked Foolish to babysit while she was out and Dream whined about not needing a babysitter until Foolish showed up with Tina at his side.

Tina hadn't been on the server before the prison. She didn't know what Dream was like before, only now. And she's heard stories and memories but she's chosen to not hold that over Dreams head. And he loves her for it.

Well maybe he doesn't love her, that's a big thing to feel for someone he's just met.

But she doesn't judge him and she comforted him when Puffy left and she pat his head just how momma does when he's upset, avoiding his ears and horns, so right now he feels like he loves her.

And maybe he's been clinging onto her for far too long by now but he's scared! And Tina said that it's okay.

Foolish has been staring at him with a amused smile for a few minutes now and Dream turns to stick his tongue out at his brother.

They're on the couch and Dream has been sitting curled up next to Tina for a while, his knees are pressed up against his chest and his head is on her shoulder.

There's a sippy cup in his paws, which are wrapped around his knees, with watered down juice in it but he's ignoring it in favor of the teether he's chewing on.

He doesn't really need to chew right now but it's helping his nerves so he's holding onto it.

Tina has a arm wrapped around his shoulder and she's rubbing it soothingly.

In all honesty, he could fall asleep right now if he wasn't so scared.

A part of his brain wants his momma really badly. She can make him feel better no matter the situation. But he knows that she's out right now and won't be back until later tonight.

His back is starting to ache at the way that he's sitting and he knows that he needs to move soon but he doesn't want to.

The tv is off but there's a disc in the jukebox and the soft music is adding to the comfort of the room nicely.

It's so nice but he has to get up. His back hurts and soon his neck will start to ache as well.

He taps Tina and her right ear flicks before she looks at Dream who has moved his head off her shoulder and is now holding his teether in one paw.

"Yes, Dream?" Her voice is so warm and comforting that Dream almost wants to lay back down. He doesn't though.

"Back hurts." Dream mumbles, his face feels hot from his growing embarrassment.

Tina doesn't yet know the full extent of his lasting injuries from the prison but Foolish does.

His brother stands and scoops Dream up, holding him bridal style. "Does anything else hurt?" Foolish asks and Dream nods, "My neck."
